Congratulations to Highlander alumni, Ronnie Porter ‘21 for being inducted into the inaugural Gatlinburg All-American Bowl Hall of Fame, Class of 2026.

With over 200 yards rushing, multiple touchdowns, and 12+ tackles, his MVP performance certainly left a mark on the Gatlinburg All-American Bowl.

“We were fortunate to have so many players and families who believed in Heathwood football and were willing to put in the time and effort to make it better. The success we had was truly a team effort, and Ronnie was a big part of that. His commitment and contributions helped make those years special for all of us” says former Head Football Coach, Danny Lewis who had the opportunity to coach Ronnie during his time at South Beltline.

After graduating from Heathwood, Ronnie went on to play his college football at @appstate_fb and @gamecockfb.

The Highlander Nation is proud of you Ronnie!
