As we close out the year, we can’t help but reflect on everything we accomplished together at Habit. 🤍

This year, 1,575 new clients walked through our doors, people who had never stepped foot in our space before and trusted us with their skin and their confidence. We completed 8,194 appointments. That’s 8,194 moments where we had the opportunity to make an impact, better skin, better confidence, better care, and hopefully a better version of each person who sat in our beds.

We celebrated some huge wins, including being named Best of Virginia 2025 and winning the Richmond Bride A-List. We also entered a new competition for Richmond Best. While we didn’t take home the win, we are incredibly grateful just to be nominated and to stand alongside so many amazing local business owners.

We had the opportunity to partner with Boulevard and have our founder, Summer, speak to other med spa owners about our unique client experience and be recognized for how she created a client experience like no other. We were featured on two podcasts this year, and we are so excited to dive more into this world next year.

This year, we earned 286 five-star Google reviews. That’s 286 people who took time out of their day to support our small business by sharing their experience online, and that means more than we can ever say.

…more in the comments.

come be the client i need 🫶🏼

in all seriousness - the clientele list is slim pickens now

HERE’S WHY IM PARTICULAR

🤍 I don’t think it’s fair to bash, so let me transmute this energy , because at the end of the day, I can only create a safe environment when I feel just as safe and respected, it’s a two way street : but for ME and MY business 🥹🤍

I PREFER CLIENTS WHO :

✨ communicate ✨
running late? girl. life happens, call me, text me. use this big adult language we have the gift of.

i’m human. I get it. but if you’re too late, we can simply reschedule!

if it’s a habit, we part ways and love from afar, because then you’re saying my clients after you don’t deserve their time frame & I don’t tolerate entitled energy. not all money is good money.

I also don’t know what’s not said. i’m autistic and don’t read further into anything - please use your voice lol i’m not a therapist. I cannot teach you despite the comments on my last viral video!

✨ respect boundaries ✨
and I mean things like

• time allotments
• deposits + terms / agreements
• keeping their scheduled appointments or being respectful if things do arise - kindness is everything
• will be mindful of gentle reminders

AGAIN : I am a self employed service provider. I create and sell beauty for a living : that means beautiful energy and moments and it cannot come from tainted sources around me

@hollytanella of @bohomedspa shares some encouragement with Last Client of the Day host @skyajones about how there isn’t a single path for everyone. “It may be hard and doors might be closing, but if it’s meant to be, those doors are going to open for you.” It’s okay if your path to success doesn’t look like you thought it would—and overnight success takes time! Get the full episode at the link in our bio.
