It’s @f1 race weekend in Austin, TX! 🏁🇺🇸
Alongside the modern F1 action at @cota_official, @mastershistoricracing brought some incredible vintage Formula 1 cars back to the track! Definitely an experience I wish I could’ve made it out to see this weekend.
Sharing some throwback pictures I took back in 2022 at @wgi1948 during the @mastershistoricracing event 📸🏎️
One of the coolest experiences was getting to see these legendary F1 machines from the 1970s/80s racing around Watkins Glen, a circuit that hosted the United States Grand Prix from 1961 to 1980!
These cars represent an incredible era of Formula 1, including the iconic black-and-gold John Player Special Lotus, the six-wheeled-era Tyrrell team, and the Hesketh 308 associated with James Hunt. Hunt famously scored Hesketh’s only F1 victory at the 1975 Dutch Grand Prix before becoming World Champion with McLaren in 1976.
Watkins Glen also holds a special place in F1 history, having hosted legends like Emerson Fittipaldi, Niki Lauda, James Hunt, Jackie Stewart, and Mario Andretti.
Seeing these historic machines back on a track where Formula 1 once raced was awesome. The sound, the liveries, and the raw nature of these cars are completely different from modern F1 🙌🏻🏁

This Porsche 914-6 GT Tribute just seems like a great time - Widebody stance. Lightweight aggression. Pure analog chaos.
This is what Porsche racing felt like before computers took over.
Tomorrow we get to see what next new thing coming from @porsche . Expectations are high for something great.

How about a flat 8 - 914 reboot?

Definitely the car you drive to “the office” during the week, and play with on the weekends

Tag someone who’d actually drive it to work every Monday.

Today is @luftgekuhlt 12 in Atlanta 🏁
Won’t be making it out this year, but I wanted to share some throwback pictures I took from Luft 10 and 11 📸
One of the coolest things about @luftgekuhlt is how they bring together such an incredible collection of air-cooled Porsches and find unique locations that make the perfect backdrop for these iconic cars. Luft 10 was held at the Universal Studios backlot in LA California, while Luft 11 took place at the historic former cigarette factory in Durham, NC. Two completely different settings, but both made for an awesome experience.
From legendary Porsche race cars to beautiful classics, there’s always so much Porsche history to see at these events. Hope to be at the next LUFT next year! 🙌🏻🏎️

(I added a couple shots from @roadscholars1 as well, from their open house event)

What a super fun Saturday we had across Scottsdale and Phoenix this past weekend.

First Saturday of the month is a standing Porsche day at @fourtillfour from 7a-10a.

As an added bonus, @lasterabrand hosted their LastLap event in the Biltmore area to provide just a bit more enjoyment to your weekend.

Both events brought amazing attendance where owners and enthusiasts got to see a little bit of everything. As always, remain respectful to the hosting venue and all those attending 🫶
