Sometimes, a closed door is not a loss… it’s protection. ❤️

After a breakup, it’s easy to focus on what ended, what could have been, and what you thought your future was supposed to look like. But sometimes, God allows a door to close because there is something on the other side that you could never see while you were standing in that relationship.

A closed door can give you space to heal.
Space to rediscover yourself.
Space to grow.
Space to become the woman you were meant to be.

Not every ending is a punishment. Some endings are redirection. Some are preparation. And some are simply God reminding you that you don't have to keep forcing yourself through a door He wants closed.

So if you're walking through a breakup right now, give yourself permission to grieve—but don't forget to look forward.

The door closed. But your life didn't.

The most beautiful chapter begins after you finally stop looking back. ✨

No regrets! No explanations! No looking back!

Let them take that energy, pack it in a cute little bag, and fuck all the way off. 💋😂

Choosing me! Protecting my peace! and moving forward!✨

Last week, we kicked off Realtor Safety Month with an impactful Active Shooter Survival Training hosted by CMPD. 💙 Their team equipped us with practical, option-based strategies to help us stay prepared in both real estate settings and everyday life.

Key takeaways included:

⚡ Understanding human stress response
🛡 Survival actions that save lives

A huge thank you to CMPD for leading this powerful session, and to Rashaud McCray with Meritage Homes for providing breakfast. 🙏

What if the pause isn’t a distraction… but the very thing your soul has been asking for?

I’m so excited to share this latest ‘Welcome to This Moment’ episode. I had a tender and spacious conversation with Natolie Warren, Licensed Therapist, Breathwork Facilitator, and Retreat Leader.

What unfolded was honest, embodied, and full of warmth.

We talk about pausing not just to catch our breath, but to come home to ourselves. We explore burnout, motherhood, breath, morning rituals, and how sometimes the sacred begins in the smallest, quietest moments.

00:00 – Introduction
01:18 – Interrupting momentum
02:50 – I can’t keep doing this life
04:19 – “I’m tired, but I keep going…”
05:41 – The pause is a breath away
08:00 – Rooted like a tree, blooming like a flower
08:53 – Joy behind the wheel: dancing with her daughters
10:02 – What women can expect at The Sacred Pause retreat
11:03 – When a pause is not sacred: victimhood vs reverence
12:29 – Returning to your true nature
14:23 – Gardenias, timelines & the scent of presence
15:17 – If you feel too busy to rest, start here
16:23 – Five breaths that change your day
17:27 – Keep your eyes closed: micro-habit magic
19:02 – You are already enough
20:15 – Pollinate the world just by being you

This isn’t a conversation about rest.

It is the rest.

If this conversation stirs something within you,

Natolie will be leading a retreat at The Florrest today, May 30–June 1. It’s called The Sacred Pause. It’s sold out! If you don’t want to miss anything, join us in this conversation!

Take a breath.

Press play.

And see what rises.

Much love,
Mena
