How do you deal with waster water when not at a campground? Comment below!
One of the challenges of non traditional camping like moochdocking is getting rid of waster water. Of course you can always use alternative facilities and not use your RV systems but for us that is too inconvenient . We purchased our Latchit macerator pump a few years ago and it was a game changer! Super simple, sanitary and fast. It runs off the coach batteries so it’s always available to us.

So we’ve set out since about 2020 trying to go to different states for spring break every year. We went on a cruise last year so couldn’t put a sticker up. Got our @latch.it map on our fridge in our camper. Ready to fill up as much as we can with our family in our new camper 🎉❤️✨ #adventures #springbreak #newstateeverytime

🔒Vintage Airstream Restoration ep. 19: Restore-a-Door!

❌The original lock on our 1973 Airstream is prone to failure, expensive to replace ($400-$800), almost impossible to restore, and no locksmith wants to touch it. Plus we didn’t have keys for it.

😎We decided to replace it with a new lock from @latch.it we bought off Amazon for about $40 and install a deadbolt from @homedepot for another $40 bringing this project to $80. Not bad eh?

🪚 Since the lock and latch were different, we had a ton of modifications to make to the frame, the door, the wall, and the locks. It took about 5 days to get it right. Shoutout to the @dremel tool for all the tight corners

🏆Post game stats of the project:
3 times taking the door gasket on and off
4 new holes drilled
2 new locks
2 new keys on the keychain
1 random summer storm
Over 9000 modifications

‼️Follow along as we transform this beautiful hunk of aluminum into our new tiny house on wheels!
