Reminiscing on graduation ✨🐾

A few people have asked what all my cords and stoles are so I thought, now that summer is over, I would give a little tour!

Pictures 1-3 - I graduated from Louisiana Tech with a degree in Agricultural Buisness (buisness concentration) and a minor in Animal Science and Buisness administration. These are just some senior pictures that I loved!
Picture 4- this is the stole that all Louisiana Tech graduates have. It pops against the gown and shows our bulldog spirit!
Pictures 5-7 - I participated in the 1894 leadership series to earn this stole. This is through our alumni association where we heard about giving back as alumni. It has our founding year and the lady of the mist.
Pictures 8-9 - this is my Tri Delta stole and cords. I received the stole with my leadership positions and our crest. I also received 3 cords that correspond with those leadership roles. The 2 silver cords represent Tabling chair and Big/Little chair. The blue cord represents Director of Facility Operations.
Picture 10-11- These 2 cords represent Block and Bridle (purple) and Women in Ag (pink). While I was just a member in B&B, I held 2 officer positions in WAG.
Pictures 12-13 - I don’t have a very good picture of just the cord, but I recieved 2 red and blue spiral cords for my time as a Student recruiter. In one picture I am pointing to the clock tower because that Easter egg was one of my favorite fun facts to tell on my tours.
Pictures 14-16 - These are just some other good pictures! I was a part of the College of Applied and Natural Sciences and spent some of my time at the College of Buisness building, but my heart will always be with the School of Agriculture and Forestry

Good plans. That is exactly what the Lord had in store for me 3 years ago when I stepped foot on Louisiana Tech’s campus. To say I am in awe of Him is a vast understatement. This university has given me more than I ever imagined it would have, and I am forever indebted to it and the people who make this place home. My heart will ever loyal be!

My life verse is Matthew 5:13-16, “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Louisiana Tech, thank you for being a light that shines so bright! Thank you for pushing me farther than I ever thought I’d grow and go. Thank you for allowing me to make younger me proud. Thank you Tech Leadership Council, Student Government Association, Student Recruiters, Peer Leadership Council, The Bridge Community Church, Revive318, and Kappa Delta for endless opportunities to lead. I am forever changed for good! 🩵❤️
