Did something different today! I’m definitely not the best runner but felt good to change it up a little today with a fast, for me, 5k!

This felt awful, but I’m glad I did it (running in a nutshell). This one was for you @latham_hardee 😤

Over the weekend we visited Wilkesboro, NC with some friends to explore the mountain bike trails and country roads for cycling. We stayed at @belladilago, a lake front rental property that offers @torc_nc members 20% off their stay through @carolina_cabin_rentals through 2026. It’s an incredible house - plenty of space for a group, dog friendly, bike friendly with peaceful views of Kerr Scott Reservoir. The mtb trails are biking distance from the house making it a perfect getaway for an adventure not too far from Raleigh-Durham. The quaint historical downtown is only minutes away with plenty to explore from local cafes to antique stores and a local park with greenway and gravel trails. Become a @torc_nc member if you’re not already and start planning your next adventure!

You can bike directly from this lake house to a historic mountain bike trail. It’s hard to express how much I love that. Another incredible day in Wilkes County, NC with the @torc_nc crew.

🏠 @belladilago

For the history nerds: the OVT recognizes the Revolutionary War Overmountain Men - folks from what is now East Tennessee who crossed the Unaka Mountains and then fought in the Battle of Kings Mountain in South Carolina.

My new favorite place to escape the Triangle for a weekend. This lake is beautiful, and I can literally walk to epic mtb trails from the house. Honestly a dream scenario for me. Having a ton of fun with my fellow @torc_nc folks, @ilovenickhazel @latham_hardee and @shaunkenan (Ice Cream Boys 4 Life). Excited to get on some dirt tomorrow and rip it up.

A huge thanks to @belladilago for hosting us. And shout out to @cinderbistro for some insane brisket.

Our fearless runners braved another scorcher of a morning here in Durham for our Sunday long run! And don’t look too closely at @latham_hardee, he had to be photoshopped in 😂

Join us every Sunday morning for a long run on the ATT! All paces and distances are welcome.

Trying to be more like @latham_hardee
Another busy day but managed to carve out some mental health time and a couple miles in running shoes.
