Featuring Crowns of Love at Atlanta Climate Week made so much sense in my soul, that I’m pretty sure that’s what she heard first as I tried to find the words to describe what it is I was about to help accomplish with Atlanta Climate Week.

My friend, @latryce.marie is an artist and philanthropist, that up-cycles gently used wigs and regifts them to patients that battle cancer and alopecia through her non profit - @crownsofloveinc

To be able to weave these two revolutionary concepts was a dream come true for me!

Thank you for always sharing the right words to help me grow. Thank you for always choosing to align with me in the infancy stages of my new chapters. Thank you for then teaching me the Value of loyalty and friendship, and where those boundaries can be. And thank you both for showing up with the purpose and energy to lead the conversations to a positive outcome!

Latryce Golliday brings care into the climate conversation through Crowns of Love’s Crown Exchange Initiative—upcycling gently used human hair wigs for women and children experiencing hair loss from cancer treatment or alopecia.

Her work reminds us that what we keep out of landfills can also be what we give back to one another: dignity, confidence, and love.
