The quilting world is coming to my backyard and I get to be part of it! ❤️

I’m so excited to be a Social Media Partner for the 2026 International Quilt Festival here in Houston!

One of my favorite things about quilting is the people it has brought into my life, and there is nothing quite like being in a giant building FULL of people who understand why you need more fabric when you already have plenty at home. 😂

I’ll be sharing more as we get closer. And taking you along with me once Quilt Festival gets here.

And since Houston is home for me, I’m especially excited to welcome so many quilters to my city!

Yesterday we wrapped up our first ever in-person event in Eugene, Oregon! We had such an incredible two days and are so grateful for the speakers, vendors, exhibit participants, and most importantly the quilt folk who traveled from far and wide to join us for this experience.

We’re already daydreaming about future opportunities to gather in person with our community! Thanks again to everyone who helped to make it happen!

The @quiltfolk Gather Event is over, two days went by in a quick minute. Wonderful speakers and fellowship, the @quiltfolk team made it all go so smoothly. I was a vendor and spent the whole time socializing, just one fun conversation after another!!

A few things about me: I love Halloween and all the spooky cute things about Halloween! I especially like cats, ghosts, witch cats, and bats. My favorite Halloween movie is Halloweentown. 👻🎃🦇🐈‍⬛🐈

I’m not into the more creepy things about Halloween (for example: snakes, blood, zombies). 🚫🧟‍♀️🩸🐍🚫

I like traditional Halloween colors like orange, purple, and black as well as the more modern halloween color schemes that include pinks, greens, and teals. 🧡💜💖💚🖤

I love print fabrics, especially Ruby star, but I love any cute print fabrics!

If it includes anything to do with cats or ghosts I’ll love it!

If you’re more interested in doing something general fall seasonal, I also like anything with squirrels!

As we continue a celebratory summer, let me present From Sea to Shining Sea, the most adorable, nautically inspired quilt pattern.

When @laughyourselfintostitches sent these over, I absolutely, positively, could not wait to share them with you.

I want to make them all. (I’m starting with the one on the last slide)

Does this darling wall hanging-sized pattern make you think of coastal summers and clam bakes too? I will absolutely be making one (or more) in the very near future.

What do we think about making several and connecting them as a table runner?

Karen used my new collection, Independence Garden by Tiffany Lauren for @andoverfabrics for these mockups. The collection is available for shops to order now (ships in February), and I’d be absolutely thrilled if you asked your favorite retailer to carry it!
