More good stuff. Leni and Sarah who you know exactly what. My pops graduating me at Witz. 30 years have taken their toll on its mode of transport but your soul is kinder than ever. As part of Craft 1o1 2026 by Arts Letters & Numbers, this workshop invites participants to explore drawing and image making through sustained attention to the natural world on and around the Averill Park campus. Unfolding through a series of themed sessions, the workshop introduces a wide range of materials and approaches, including pencil, ink, watercolor, gouache, pastel, collage, photography, sketchbook practice, and mixed media. Moving between still life, plein air landscape, collaborative drawing, abstraction, and studies of plants and landscape, participants will investigate scale, observation, and material response as ways of deepening their relationship to place. The workshop culminates in a group exhibition in an alternative setting, bringing together the works produced through this shared process of looking, making, and exchange. Craft 1o1 is Arts Letters & Numbers’ interdisciplinary model of education, bringing together over twenty workshops, intensives, and gatherings between July 1 and August 30 through an ethos of listening, mentorship, collaboration, and cross-disciplinary exchange.
