Been a while since I competed in a show, and even longer since I have been on a podium. Thanks firstly to @thestrongmanway for putting up with my bullshit and coaching me through a string of injuries and periods of unavailability to train. Not only am I lucky to have you as a coach, your also my best mate and treasure your constant guidance.

Next up thanks to those that supported me today and through the comp prep, @laura._mann @ryan_walker74 @stephanieeggleton_ @jakecampbell1991 @jordykosborne @emcampbell2016. Appreciated your there for the support laughs and help.

Thanks to AS, and Iron rev for putting on the comp, to team smw for getting around each other, and to the competitors.

We love our bread. 🍞
We love our butter. 🧈
But most of all we love each other. 🫶🏻

We couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect group of people to celebrate how much we love our lives. 😭

Alright, fortnight review time.

Last two weeks have been absolutely hectic at the gym. Laura’s push-ups made me stop mid-sentence, Fiona’s been coming three times a week and you can see it paying off, and this new bloke Benjamin got his first ring muscle-ups which is both impressive and annoying in the best way.

Taylor doubled her back squat. DOUBLED. Abby figured out that belts actually make you stronger. Andrew’s doing handstand steps thinking I didn’t see him but I saw everything mate.

Also I was eight minutes late to 6am class last Monday cuz I couldn’t find my keys so that’s fun. Now I put them by my bedside table like a responsible adult.

Big things coming up: I’m doing Chad 1000X this Sunday at 8am (1000 box step-ups, you’re welcome to join and suffer with me for free). Tommy’s competing at nationals on the 15th in Melbourne. And Mandy’s putting on a free track day in December cuz most of you don’t know how to run properly and she’s gonna fix that.

November attendance challenge is still going - bring mates down, wear weight vests, post stuff. Get your team some points.

Full video is up now with about 15 shoutouts and heaps of progress. Watch it, you might be in there.

See you at the gym.

Sick Edit Saturday but it's too cool to not share now and I wanna take tomorrow off - so here it is, enjoy.
Look, I could wait until the "right" day to post this, but honestly when you've made something good, why sit on it? Plus, taking a Saturday off sounds pretty decent right about now.
This edit came together better than expected - got all the best bits from the week, the energy's right, and it just feels good. Sometimes you know when you've nailed something.
So here's your early Sick Edit. Watch it, share it, tag your mates, do whatever. I'll be having a Saturday off for once instead of editing videos.
You're welcome.
