Well isn’t this a charming and unique treasure?
Very tempted to keep it - I was going to let my granddaughter play with it (under supervision!) but actually I don’t think she’d appreciate it as much as an adult would!

A wooden blocks jigsaw with lithographed images on paper. It must date from the 1920’s, going by their clothes. There are 6 pictures to make - it’s actually very challenging, especially as there are no guide pictures.
The pictures are incredibly vibrant considering their age. Some slight scuffing to the paper edges here and there, but the condition of the blocks is really great overall

The box shows more wear, but still, not bad for 100 years old! I’m not sure if this is the original box, or if someone covered an old cigar box maybe? It’s covered in a textured foil paper.
Box measures 27 x 21cm

Struggling to part with these….🥰

❤️A stitched card box - hard to find these days - really pretty soft colours and in great condition. £16
❤️Cutest Polish wooden peg dolls. I’d say these are 1950’s ones, in nice condition. Small hole in boys hat where a feather would have been, and bit of chipped paint on feet.

£15 each or £28 the pair - but please don’t make me separate them, I’d feel too cruel! 😆

(Btw the Vernon Ward is also for sale - look back to one of my previous posts for details☺️)

Almost an I Spy? What say you, TJ @whimsybopper⁉️

First I was just going to put Dolls on a Doily. Then I Decided to add a Dozen Dice and a Doorknob. Then somehow the Dogs with a Dog tag and Dutch girls Decided to join in. So, what the heck, how about a Ducky Dish, a Division block, some Ds and a few Dried hyDrangeas.

Do you Dig it? #vintagevignetteabcs with much thanks to all the hosts …

Holiday Holy Grail: my sweet friend Amanda @happyflowerface asked me to participate in the Christmas holy Grail challenge. This is my holy grail Christmas item. We’ve been collecting vintage Christmas for over 20 years, and my favorite pieces are probably by Holt Howard—though truth be told it’s so hard to have a favorite! Anyway, this piece is an advertising sign from the 50s by Holt Howard for their holiday Christmas display. We were lucky enough to snag it years ago on eBay! Thanks for inviting me to join the fun, Amanda! #holthoward #holthowardchristmas #holthowardsanta #vintageholthoward #vintagestoredisplay #vintagestoredisplays #christmasdisplay #vintagechristmasdecor #vintagechristmasdisplay #vintagesanta #madeinjapan #madeinjapanchristmas #brushtree #brushtrees #vintagetrees #vintagechristmasdecor #vintagechristmaskitsch #kitschychristmas #kitschmas #vintageholygrail #christmasvintage #vintagechristmasvignette #vintagexmas #xmasvintage #oldfashionedchristmas #oldstylechristmas #vintagechristmaskitchen #vintageholidaydecor #vintageholiday #vintageholidays #holidayvintage
