POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The heart of #UpscaleConf is the community
It’s the conversations between talks, the people you meet in the hallways, the ideas exchanged over coffee.

You brought your perspectives, your stories, your questions, and made Upscale feel alive
You made this more than an event. You made it a shared experience.

We continue the conversation in San Francisco

This wild clay beauty is still up for grabs 🥹❣️

Sometimes I’m happy she is still here so that I can see her when coming into the studio. But looking forward to where her next home will be 🫶🏻

I made her last year with wild clay slip from all the clay scraps from the Wild Clay Workshop. The color turned out beautiful! And its a slip I’ll never be able to replicate. So she is truly unique!

🤍🤍🤍

First photo is taken by the lovely @laura__pin from her studio visit a few weeks ago 🤍📸

Wood was once the heart of design-strong, enduring, and built to last. But over time, its presence has faded, replaced by faster, cheaper alternatives. In furniture, in architecture, the shift is clear. What changed? And what does it mean for the future of design?

Read the full post and tell us-will we learn to appreciate wood again?
