POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Every December I set a list of business goals for the next year. My #1 goal for 2026 was to start hosting classes… I didn’t know how but I had a vision I was set on executing. And now… I’ve just hosted my 10th class!

When I dreamed about hosting classes I knew I wanted them to be experiences. More than anything I wanted them to be a place where other women and mothers could come together to be creative, social, dress up, and just be for a few hours. As a mother to 2 young girls I needed something like these experiences postpartum and didn’t have it- so I decided to create it.

Of course everyone is welcome and wanted at all of our experiences… but being able to host these classes heals a postpartum version of myself who would’ve loved these experiences more than anything during a time where creativity and socializing and even just dressing up was difficult.

And now we’ve hosted 10+ and are rapidly growing this portion of the business. With each class my creativity and confidence has grown even further and I love how you can see it even through these photos. Teaching classes has become the thing that fills my own cup every month. Getting the opportunity to create, enjoy treats and music, take photos, plan themes, decorate, dress up, and hang out with you all has been everything to me.

I want to give a huge thank you to @empowered_photo who has been the most incredible host. I am beyond grateful for our gorgeous class space at @thestory.room

And a big thank you to my hubby @coach_smittyy for helping me with all of the set ups, prep, clean up, mental breakdowns and of course taking all of our class photos

And last but not least thank you @laurabrown06 for helping me prep a million pounds of buttercream and cakes every month. I couldn’t do it without your help!

If you are interested in joining us for a class they are posted on our website monthly under the “shop” tab. We also do private bookings and collaborations with other businesses.

If you’ve made it this far I hope you enjoyed the last photo😂🤍

We are officially welcoming Laura to the Violet Flour team!

“Hey, I’m Laura Brown! I just graduated from Culinary Institute of Michigan with a degree in baking and pastry! I have always loved to make, decorate, and eat all things sweets! I love working with Andrea and I have already learned so much! I cant wait to see what the future holds at Violet Flour Bakes!”

Laura is VFB’s first real employee! With our recent expansion I knew I wanted to find help from someone who had a similar start as me. She completed her internship with us this summer and was such a perfect fit she will be with us permanently! She graduated from the same college and program as I did (many years ago now😅) and she has been such a joy to have!

Lord knows I am not the best with words, but I am gonna try. Over the past 2 years I think I have found my lifelong friends, the people I spent nearly everyday with doing complete and random tasks, homework , game nights and ofc D&D sessions ( sorry for always getting off task😅) are some of the best friends I could ask for. You guys were always there to make me laugh and get me out of my room. I wish we had been friends from day one so we could’ve had more time together, and ofc we will still see eachother but we wont get up randomly and text the gc… beach night? I will miss you guys randomly popping into my house even when you would let the door slam. Not all of us have moved away yet but I am missing everyone already. So thank you guys for giving me a reason to miss you, I love you all so much😢❤️
