Wow… what a week at the Thanet Music, Drama & Dance Festival 💫

Hetty absolutely shone and we couldn’t be prouder of her 💙

✨ Musical Theatre Song – OUTSTANDING 🌟 1st Place (91 marks 😭🙌)✨ Art Song – Distinction & 3rd Place✨ Song & Dance Solo – Honours & 3rd Place✨ Character Solo – Honours✨ National Solo – Commended✨ Duet with her bestie Robyn – Commended

But more than anything, it’s her confidence, her love for performing and that big smile that makes us the proudest 🥹

A massive thank you to the amazing people behind her…💫 Laura Icke – truly the best dance teacher ever💫 LA Dance Academy💫 Miss Aine & Miss Sonya💫 Kelly Richardson – for her incredible singing support💫 Paul on piano – because nothing beats a real piano 🎹✨

And the icing on the cake… she’s been invited back next Friday to collect her trophy AND perform again 🤍 such a huge honour!

Keep shining our girl… this is just the beginning ✨. Can’t forget my amazing Dance Mums - Festival Besties

But the best part wasn’t even the medals… it was being with my dance besties 🩷

Robyn, Florence, Ivy, Clara and Bella Rose (your first festival!!! 🥹✨) — I love doing this with you. Cheering each other on, hugs backstage, good luck squeezes and big smiles all day.

Dance friends really are the best friends 💖

So proud of everyone today. Now I’m tired but happy!!! All the thanks in the world to my amazing dance teachers and my dance family at @la_dance_academy Thanks @sonyaballet @lauraliddy and Miss Aine for all your help and support and @kellyrichardson5672 for the vocals ❤️ ♥️

Sparks 2-13th July 2024 ✨

Our second production in under a year which is completely mindblowing…! I’m so immensely proud of what we managed in this production. It’s so hard to put in to words how much I appreciate the time, effort and support from everyone involved.
✨Director of dreams @jshsouthstreet who knew exactly what we needed and how to get the absolute best out of her actors! Thank you for creating a safe space to work and play!
✨My two stage children @its_allaboutizzy and @a.d_the_great who were so creative and engaging to work with every night!
✨The tech team @mattkarmiosdesign @tomsthornhill and Matt G for creating and operating the most beautiful lighting and soundscape.
✨Tim at @grey_swan_fusion for his stunning photography and his wonderful PR skills! We are forever grateful for your tireless work for us on both fronts!
✨Hannah Reeves for pouring her heart and soul into the most beautiful original score for our show.
✨@elliewintour for your patience and great ideas while consulting on our set.
✨@simonkirkactor who took care of all our graphic design needs and created the poster and programme just as we imagined them (and better).
✨To Kate and Karl @brocjacktheatre who welcomed us back with open arms and guided us through the whole process again!
✨Last but certainly not least, @lisammini there are no words really. You are my absolute ride or die sister, best friend and legally bound business partner! From the first moment you mentioned Sparks to the last line of the play you have inspired me with your passion and drive to produce an outstanding piece of theatre. Proud to know you and work alongside you ❤️

Meet Isabelle ✨

Throughout Sparks we had to keep our secret weapons a complete secret but in fact we had two incredible young performers join us in the role of Sam!
@its_allaboutizzy blew us away with her audition back in March and we knew we had to cast her as one of our Sam’s!
She’s diligent and hard working but at the same time really fun and so friendly to work with. Her playfulness and instincts on stage were brilliant to watch and see develop across the run. Always turning up to the rehearsals or the show with a big smile on her face and a bag full of Colin the caterpillar treats she was a joy to work with from start to finish!
We are very proud stage Mum and stage Aunty to this little star and it’s been an honour to share the stage with her! ✨🎉

Scroll across for beautiful photos by @timstubbshughes at @grey_swan_fusion and Isabelle’s first and last nights with us!
Shout out to @lauraliddy for being amazing too!
