What an amazing and terrible week it has been.
Theatre Camp was all this week, and the campers and counselors did an incredible job! However, I was sick as a dog all week. I missed the last day of camp and the performance, which I don’t think I have ever missed a performance before!
I am so thankful for the adults who truly saved me this week. Thank you, @amberlybb90 , @kelsey.hensley , and @mary.travers82 , for taking care of me and stepping in when I needed it most.
Thank you to all of my camp counselors and leaders who did an amazing job with music, choreography, acting, theatre games, costumes, snacks, and lunch. Your hard work and dedication made this week possible.
A special thank-you to @awiley25 , @kennedy.cataline , and @lauralundy_ for coming back to help us with camp.
Most of all, I want to recognize @emmagreg08 @alawson2008 and @alicekatemeadows . These three young ladies worked tirelessly to make camp a success. They stepped up, took on responsibility, and ran with it. I couldn’t be prouder of the leadership, maturity, and dedication they showed throughout the week. Thank you for all of the love and hard work you put into Camp!
One of the greatest joys is seeing your students share their love and passion for theatre with the next generation. Thank you all for making this week such a success, even when I couldn’t be there for every moment. I am incredibly grateful for each of you. 📸 by Jeronimo Nisa/Decatur Daily
