heart still full and face still glowy from one of the loveliest birthdays yet. thank you to all who made it so - and many not pictured here. @grimeys with @donielle.tm, playing songs from my new album, Between Heaven and Earth, talking about our beloved david lynch, his enduring presence and profound influence on this music - and our lives - no better way to bring in this new season.

i do have one birthday wish -

would you kindly presave this album?

it goes a long way towards getting it out into the world. it costs nothing and takes but a second. but could have huge impact.

go to link in my bio, or https://30tgrs.ffm.to/betweenheavenandearth - you have the option of whichever streaming service you prefer. and just hit ‘presave’ and you’re done.

thank you, deeply, in advance.

‘Thank You’ to all of you who have streamed and watched our new song this weekend!

here’s some BTS from the video shoot with @johnboymusic … filmed at @post82nashville with @theboytheearthsingsto and @neilsonhubbard

if you think it has some david lynch type vibes about it - that’s not by accident 🙃 the album is a tribute to david, and how he changed my life from the first time i worked with him at age 7, on Dune.

Between Heaven and Earth is available for pre-save now, as well as pre-order on CD and (double!) vinyl. link in bio or at my website. #aliciawitt #aliciawittmusic #davidlynch #betweenheavenandearth #johnpaulwhite

If you’ve seen a show of mine in the last 8 years, you’ve probably heard me tell the story of the night that @mulekick_productions reopened The Palomino in North Hollywood for one very special night back in 2018. Since then, @kphawthorn and @adrienneisom have poured their hearts and souls into making a documentary about that famed country music venue, and yesterday, their doc about The Palomino got its first public screening at the @countrymusichof . It was glorious. It so beautifully tells the captivating story of a club that forever shaped country music. Also, yours truly appears for a few seconds towards the end. 😍 It was an honor to be a part of the festivities. (Dressed in the 80s fringe suit of my dreams thanks to @laurarabell). Friends from all over the country came to Nashville for this monumental moment for this film. And we had one hell of a time celebrating it. 🤠

Some fabulous folks you will see in these photos and videos: @kyle.a.thomas_ , @intveldjames , @rosierockabillyfilly , @laurarabell , @indiarameymusic , @thelisakaasboyle , @robinvibezz and @miss.eleese
