@guilhermevieirademoraeslacerda captivated the audience on April 3 with his collection, “Liminality.”

For the 2026 MAISON show, Guilherme presents “Liminality”, a deeply personal thesis which seeks to answer the question: “How does movement–across
spaces, cultures, and generations–shape relationships and the self?” The pieces are a physical attempt to answer this question through the lens of Guilherme’s life as a Brazilian living within different cultures in different locations.

“Liminality”emerges from an intimate engagement with the artist’s family lineage and history. Guilherme’s initial exploration evolved into a deliberate investigation, where he examined family archives–photographs, lived spaces, symbolic references,
and preserved traditions. Through conversations with family members, access to preserved photographs, and trips to Brazil, these archives gave rise to conceptual explorations that began to inform the integration and manipulation of fabric.
