POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Join me for new release Tuesday at @laurelandleafpa in Somerset, PA 📚

Stopped in to my hometown bookstore this morning to check out the new releases and everything else Renee has to offer. She always has the best books, stickers, bookmarks, jewelry, and so much more!

Today she had a display of new releases, a spooky season 🎃👻 display, and even a cart full of Christmassy 🎄❄️ books if you want to grab some holiday reads early. Of course the blind date with a book display got me as usual and I brought one of them home with me.

I’m so happy to have such a wonderful bookstore in my hometown, and I try to stop in any time I’m home to see what’s new!

Happy pub day @tananarivedue! This was a must read for me as soon as I saw the release announcement. I couldn't wait to pick this beauty up from my local Indie bookstore @laurelandleafpa.

Happy ONE YEAR to Laurel & Leaf Bookshop! 📚💚

There’s something special about watching a new business choose Somerset, open its doors, and become part of the fabric of our community.

Over the past year, Laurel & Leaf has become so much more than a place to buy a good book. It’s a place to wander the shelves, discover a new story, bring the kids, find a thoughtful gift, join a book club, meet fellow readers, and feel a little more connected to the community around you.

We are so happy Laurel & Leaf chose Somerset to be their home, and even happier to see the way our community has embraced them right back.

Now it’s time to celebrate their first chapter! 🎉

From now through September 12, every in-store purchase earns an entry into their anniversary giveaway.

Then, during Anniversary Week, September 8–12, stop in Tuesday through Saturday and enjoy 10% off your purchase as their thank-you for an incredible first year. The celebration wraps up Saturday, September 12, with a special children’s author reading and meet & greet. For more details, check out Laurel and Leaf's pages ❤️

Congratulations, Laurel & Leaf, on your first year in Somerset. Thank you for investing here, for creating a place where stories and people come together, and for adding something uniquely yours to our little town.

Here’s to the first year, the next chapter, and many more stories still to come. 📖

Went to the eye doctor and @laurelandleafpa was within walking distance 🤪

These might sit on my shelf for awhile before I get to them…. Or I might start one tomorrow… who knows!!

Which would you start reading first?

Next Wednesday is my Earring Making Workshop at The Laurel And Leaf Bookshop! I am so excited to bring my particular flavor of earring making to Somerset, PA!

I’ll teach you how to craft your own flower filled earrings! I grow all the flowers myself. I’m bringing a huge selection of petals and whole flowers, so you can make your own color combinations or use flowers that have sentimental meaning! Then I’ll teach you how to seal your earrings and assemble the design of your choice, so you can wear some preserved sunshine that you made yourself! ☀️🌸

Use the QR Code on the flyer to sign up, or visit the banner at the top of the page on my website to find upcoming workshops:
