World Cup fever has officially come to an end, and what a ride it’s been 🥹 From seeing the trophy in person 🏆 to traveling to Mexico to experience my very first World Cup game and watching the champions Spain play in person to capturing special moments with my family in the jerseys @adidas sent us—this world cup was unforgettable. Huge thank you to all the amazing brands that hosted incredible watch parties and sent the best gifts along the way. Until the next one! ⚽🇲🇽❤️

17 years ago I started volunteering and raising money for @theremixproject . Drex reminded me of that after the fundraiser I held last week at my home. What’s remarkable about that has nothing to do with me. The remarkable part is rather that the though the charity has helped thousands of kids, won numerous awards and is the actual example of what an arts program for “at risk youth” should be (it’s so much more than that) it still, after 20 years, struggles for the kind of funding that it deserves. The kind of funding that the ballet gets. No shade 😎

So we did what we do best, we threw a beautiful party and invited some new friends (and some old ones too) and raised some money of our own. We invited some press (to hopefully spread the word) the Remix staff and some alumni to simply enjoy because that’s what they deserve.

21 years since Remix was founded and we find ourselves in a place where history is repeating itself. The economy is suffering, violence is increasing and cuts to social programs are, as always, the first to go. I mentioned that night to anyone that would listen that luckily we don’t have to start from scratch, Remix is here, willing, able and ready to expand. We need the official buy in from many more voices to make it happen. If you’re interested in learning more, HMU 😘❤️

Thank you to all that came and supported. Thank you to everyone involved in The Remix Project for all of the transformative work that you do for our youth year in and year out.
