Choosing the right paint color is one of the most important decisions in a kid’s room. The best neutrals create a calm backdrop that can grow with your child, while letting artwork, books, textiles, and treasured pieces take center stage.

These are a few of my tried-and-true favorites. Warm, timeless shades that feel soft and inviting.

Save this post for your next nursery or kids’ room project, or reach out to us at design@littleroomsupply.com for help getting started with your design project.

Whether you’re choosing paint colors, narrowing down furniture layouts, sourcing the perfect rug, or making bigger design decisions, sometimes you just need an expert point of view and an extra set of eyes to help bring everything together. We’ve been there too.

For clients looking for more in-depth support, we also offer custom 6- and 12-hour packages for full kids’ room redesigns. Best of all, every consultation is virtual, so we can work with families anywhere in the country.

First podcast … and I’m hooked 🎙️
I had the best time joining the @momcurious podcast with the amazing @daniellarabbani who made me feel so comfortable. We talked all things kids room design, how to create a space that actually grows with your child and the story behind creating Little Room Supply.

If you’re looking for tips on decorating kids rooms or just want a peek into my life - this one’s for you. I loved this conversation and it feels like the beginning of getting to know each other in a whole new way.

Let me know what you think or if you have more questions. Link in bio to listen
