Off the tools this week having some downtime in Manchester and then back at home with Lauren

Beach walks, Urban, training, pizza and drinks.

Apart from training in the summer, I absolutely love the winter months. It separates the people who need motivation and the ones who just love training

Plus, my Hyrox season is away to kick off🤝🤪

Medal Monday 🥇 🥈 🥉

@rm_fiitness HYROX Rome
First race together and the plan was to pace the race from start to finish - execution was perfect as you can see from his 2 previous races before Rome.

Unfortunately Robbie’s time was DSQ due to a miss communication with the judge and not going with his gut and missing a lap on the FC - this is sport and anything can happen

This does not take away any of the work he has done to this point. Every stations improved across the board, a pacing masterclass 🤝 next up Poznan 🇵🇱

@k_chard1980 Duathlon - Run / Bike / Run
After a bad accident on his bike 3 + months ago he has had the confidence to get back on, drop 6kg in weight and stand on the start line again.

Fitness improved across the board - unfortunately for him on the day there was an issue with the mechanics of the bike which left him with 2 gears 😖

It didn’t stop him from seeing the job out and completing the race.

Incredible character and hard work over the last 8 weeks

@andy99mtb 100miler on the feet - 26hrs 42mins

12 week strength program to get him robust enough to hit 110k and then the 100 miler

6 weeks base building before the 110k where he placed 5th. Then maintenance work - x1 full body, band and iso work to keep him fresh for the big one.

He planned all his running but i have loved watching this unfold.

Incredible achievement from Andy.

It’s another big week for the Team…

Lets fukin goooo

I got a cool email this week that I will share soon. Another door opening, who knows what it will bring but you can only walk through and see what’s on the other side.

Usual week for me and the Team…

Big shout out to @fergusmitchell for his 150k bike race with a good few others involved and raising close to 7k for charity. Incredible training prep and result.

@lawriekerr who raced his first deadly dozen and his first functional fitness race. This guy is going from strength to strength within the 12 weeks we have worked together

Both these guys wouldn’t have thought they would book these events, let alone race them. Everyone is more capable than they think they are

Finally… weekend topped off with a 59:36 solo sim at @activedundee - excited about how well that was controlled leading into this next block of training starting this week.

5 weeks out from Manchester Half
9 weeks out from my Hyrox season opener

Battling with some head noise this week for what ever reason. Sometimes you just have to sit with a feeling, acknowledge it, and keep working

The group of people I am coaching right now inspire me. They are being relentless in the pursuit greatness. It’s a joy to be apart of it.

Solid sim with Kev, had to climb out of a hole after nearly spewing on the rower, but good to feel that level of pain and get a strong finish 🥲🤝

Next up, solo sim at RPC

Onto the next 🤝

Week 3 / 13✅

Really enjoying the training structure at the moment. Easy volume building and working hard x2 days a week

No hyrox sessions while we build strength back. Working on techniques with - push, pull, wall balls

In life - just enjoying spending my time with the people that lift me up. New faces at Urban and numbers growing 📈🤝

Coaching Team building and it just makes me hungry for so much more

Charlie boy is my best mate, everytime I look at him, I just think how lucky did me and Lauren get ❤️🐶

New kits arrived @veloziasportswear. Code RORY20
Recovery by @st_massagetherapy_
Best gym in Edinburgh @urbanperformance1

Happy Sunday, onto the next

WHO DO I WORK WITH?

Here are just a few of the clients putting in the work day after day to achieve some pretty incredible goals.

Every goal is different.

Every journey is different.

But the commitment is the same.

And these are only a handful of the people I work with. Over the next few months, you’ll get to see what the rest of the team are working towards too.

I’m grateful to play a small part in each of their journeys.

Want to join the Team….

Fill out the form in my bio and doors will open again in August

Family photo to finish a solid week off

Building a great Team around me online and Urban growing 📈

Biggest Saturday session to date which was cool🔥

New block starts tomorrow, 6 months of the same coming up - boring,

maybe aye. But I love it.

This week was 10/10 - not much more I could ask for in 7 days.

Feel very lucky to have these people in my life.

Recharged and ready to go.

Working out isn’t a chore or something that needs ticked off. It’s just part of my day.

I love what it gives me backs and what it allows me to do.

Running, cycling and walking around Tiree❤️ endorphins firing through my veins.

Proud of the work that is getting done daily

Sometimes I feel completely out my depth, other days I feel this is where I belong.

There’s no right or wrong.

I applied and changed my mindset this week and I was rewarded

The Team at @urbanperformance1 and my online Clients are bringing out the best in me.

Work in progress 📈
