Art by Lauren Leigh Studios @laurenleighstudios

“Thank you so much for the shout out and consideration! ❤️

May she rest easy and always remain in our hearts!

Dolly was the first painting I ever made. I had no idea them where this painting would take me, but it feel fitting that it all started with her.

May she find eternal peace and forever reign as the Queen of Country, rhinestones, and being authentically true to yourself.

Thank you for the music and a lifetime of reminding women that you can be soft and strong, glamorous and smart, kind and powerful all at the same time.”

Commuters traveling along East Sixth Street from South Peoria Avenue to South Utica Avenue will see an assortment of new murals covering the walls of their favorite haunts.

More than a dozen local artists took part in @habitfest Pearl Edition that started May 29, with some of them recently completing their work. Clean Hands started the state’s first mural festival in 2019 with a goal of enhancing Tulsa’s urban landscape with vibrant art.

Artists in this year’s festival included Aaron Whisner, Clean Hands, Tony Thunder, Logan Wright, Jared Rudichuk, Zuwae x Qumes, Mckenna Sanderson, Dan Rocky, Pyramid Guy, Lauren Leigh Studios, Ekwa, Hightail Creative, RUHEK, Jake Beeson, Reighe, RUWRKS, Logan Wright, NUER and SKER.

My @thetulsaflyer gallery includes an interactive map where to find each one. I’ve tagged every artist I could ID.

The Other Art Fair Dallas in the books! Had so much fun with the other Tulsa artists who showed, and met some of the nicest/coolest artists. 💕 Huge thanks to everyone who came! I’ll be spending the summer making as much work as possible for all of the fall shows I have!

The latest issue of the Collington Index is out with what I thought was important and interesting. Artist @laurenleighstudios shares “Why I paint,” the latest in a new series. My quote of the week comes from a fifth grader who helped end a multi-million dollar contract for her school district. Link in the bio.
