POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

resurrecting this account to post some highlights in landscape from last week’s uk tour with linda smith. what an absolute privilege to be a part of her backing band with blake and paul, and to get to play with all of these exceptional musicians. met so many of my heroes (including pam berry, i almost cried) and made a bunch of new friends that i miss already. the whole thing was very surreal, feeling so incredibly grateful 💛

i have so many more videos message me if you want documentation of anything including the clientele’s incredible covers of big star and television personalities, theirs was one of the best sets i have seen in a long time

“Wow what an evening. Another excellent Q4 for Arlington investing technology renewables global firm worldwide global worldwide. Hard to believe we started this company with nothing but a Honda jazz, a denim blazer and dream.

The first 20 minutes of the function reception, I can admit that I had Oscar C’s world famous ITALIAN spaghetti meatballs all over my face. No, that was not iodine on my upper lip, it was the business bolognaise of SUCCESS (and it tastes delicious people).

As CEO, I simply synergise the embarrassment of pasta sauce on my face and make it an investing opportunity because, as we ALL say at Arlington investing technology renewables global firm worldwide global worldwide - we turn yesterdays problems into tomorrows solutions.” Richard Richard, CEO @linkedin

You guys rock though. Thanks for a decent December. Holy moly the @duncecapband train has been choo chooing down the track full steam ahead. Mega thanks to @uhhhcomber and special guests @magpie._.blue and Alex. Mega thanks Tom and Emily and Omar for making it so fun and silly. MEGA THANKS ANNIE XX.Shoutout to princess Greg 👑 and may your maiden ship set sail to horizons abundant in prosperity.

¡ ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT ! We’re beyond psyched to announce the release of our new album “In Giraffe” via Glaswegian indie label @heavenlycrecs and our own freshly cooked up imprint Delikassetten Records. “In Giraffe” will be out on beautiful transparent indigo blue vinyl on the 26th of April.

It’s been quite the journey since last year in May, when the three of us got into a car and drove down to France to set up at an old farmhouse an hour and a half north from Bordeaux. Over just 3 and ½ days, we recorded 13 new songs, 11 of which ended up on “In Giraffe”.

All with the help of our fantastic recording and mixing engineer and super host Jaike Stambach, who already helped out the previous line-up of the band with @emilecerf and Malte with recording “Anyone Can Draw” under way more humble circumstances something like an eternity ago.

All the effort feels like it has been well worth it, this is what we’re in this for. The past year has been paved with sublime encounters under a whole array of lucky stars—with our friend @villa.masoni, who ended up doing the sleeve artwork for us as well as the poster for the release show, and all of the many other midwives and -husbands, such as our friend @marycolumn, Dep from @monorail_music and of course @laurenmooset who runs Heavenly Creature Records. And just with ourselves, growing together as a band and as friends.

We cannot wait to finally share these new songs with this broken world and celebrate with you at our release show on the 26th of this month at @loge_kneipenkollektiv in Friedrichshain, alongside our local favourites and good friends @slippermusic.

There will also be a very limited, Monorail-exclusive special edition of the album including a zine with an interview and other accompanying materials. It’s currently stuck in customs, but trust us, it will be there in time for the release.

We’re also in the process of setting up a bunch of tour dates around Germany as well as a couple of shows in the UK around June and July. More info on that very soon, if you’ve always wanted to get us to come to your town, now is the time to get in touch!

Much love,
adventure team

2023, what a year! Where to start? So much has happened, and so many people to thank! we formed the band in January with amazing mentoring from @lesley_drums @kieran.savage.5 @annajackk and especially @carla.j.easton for all her support and having us support her for her album launch in @monorail_music . we never thought our first gig would be supporting The Vaselines!! we are incredibly grateful! as it was our first gig, we were pretty nervous, but the amazing @laurenmooset helped us so much to make sure everything was going smoothly and made us feel comfortable and at ease. It has also been great to meet Loyd @olivegrovercrds and @curlewmakesmusic and receive such encouraging support! We are going to be recording in January with @simonswimmer which we are really looking forward to! More exciting things to come in 2024, but we just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to EVERYONE who came to all the gigs and bought merch and sent lovley messages we really really appreciate it and love you all!!! Thank you, Mama Cord and Papa Cord, for being our roadies, merch makers, biggest supporters, and surrounding us with great music!! @wee_lou_ @marc_t.76
