Thank you, #NYCC 🗽

For the art, the comics, the stickers, the contemplative bus rides, the friends, the streets full of memories, and the bagels 🥯

Ok, here’s most of what I got @newyorkcomiccon!! 1st pic is merch from @butternut_gouache, including extra prints that I got for donating to Erin’s @michaeljfoxorg fundraiser. 2nd pic is everything else. Thank you to all the wonderful artists who I bought things from this year!!

Couldn’t tag him in the pic, but credit to @guyfgilchrist for the Kermit & Animal face stickers!

New York Comic Con is one of my favorite things to experience. This year because of personal things, I didn’t think I would be taking these photos AT the con. Thanks to @mlinehamart and @carriewiniker for the kindness, it’s because of them I got to even be there! In my overwhelming mind, I forgot to ask for a photo with BOTH Mike & Carrie. And Lauren @laurenmoran was going to send me a care package when she found out I wasn’t coming. So when I surprised her at the booth, she was so excited & gave me a hug! Matt, Carrie, and Lauren are all such incredible talented people. This is the thing not only are they so passionate about the work they make, they are kind hearted genuine people. Last week I even wanted to make a reel showing off all the stuff I have from these awesome people but unfortunately with my room being a mess, I couldn’t do it. Won’t go into much details, but a guy I used to be friends with used to be really nasty to me, call me obsessed, because of how much I love to give people greeting cards, show people appreciation, and pretty much praise people with kindness, for awhile I listened to his words, took it to heart bad, but these two people reminded me showing people support, awesomeness, and all the good is never a bad thing because the right people in the world will understand. I love Comic Con because even though I am a full on anxious person, I love being surrounded by people who understands how much it means to be a fan of art. I loved seeing all the Project Hail Mary outfits, going to the panel I really wanted to experience, and the random kindness. Something about me is that I love art so much because as someone who is so enthusiastic about movies, music, shows, books, etc, I love when people make art so I can show off my love for it by someone who took the time to make something incredible! Even though I can’t buy it all, I still love being able to shout out artists all my instagram. On top of my head two ones that come to my mind that have discovered from past cons are @shawnmansfieldart and @zombae_brando_design. If you get me talking about things I am passionate about, I am afraid I won’t stop talking! Kind people RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posting what I got today mostly to highlight the artists but also to thank @courtney.crisfield for offering to keep my big heavy book safe with her all day instead of letting me haul it around from 10am to 6pm.

#nycc2026 day 1 haul! Shoulder may be a bit angry but I was very productive. Book plates obtained through buying stickers and such from @kingdomofthreads (photo 6). Prints from @imzeferino and an HR sticker sheet. Got a cool bracelet and necklace from @siouxsiequeue. Stickers and put in for a commission from @sarahcosico. Shirt from @outofprint, mini books from Insight Editions, Miffy minis from the gachapon booth. Did my first pass of the con through @katiecandraw’s line and got some redone and custom minis. Stardew Valley chickens and con junimo from @maintainingmediocrity. HR print from @laurenmoran . Free books happily outnumber the purchases. Even if some came with a purchase. @bbcre.8 helpfully had some pins from other creators and I picked up a bunch of not pictured pins for others (which helped me get an achievement from @bbcre.8). Hot dog and adorable ghostie from @kimchikreative. And the smallest tip of the iceberg that was my haul from @laserbrainpatchco is the last photo.
