Summer 2023 is in the books. Some memories that I never want to forget

-Discreetly stargazing at Winshape with my nest and being in awe of God’s wonderful creation

-God winks while listening to Fall Like Rain

-Many, many braves games with my dad

-Early mornings at SWO where God met me in my weary and anxious circumstances

-Getting a glimpse of Heaven when singing gratitude at Winshape on the last night

-Visiting grandparents in Wyoming and hearing story’s about my dad in highschool

-Having the best, last year at Cohutta Springs full of the best friends and best staff

-Growing in my faith at Impact

-Crying while talking about all God did at Winshape and His faithfulness in times of fear

-Seeing my camp friends after a year and making new ones

-Walking in to Woody and my Impact roomates throwing me a surprise birthday party at 11pm

-Getting texts from Ella at 2 in the morning about how she started off a prayer saying LOL

-Being told by a counselor at Winshape that my posture in worship is evident and inspiring

-Countless texts from Nest 7 and Impact roomates that have brightened my days

Needless to say, this summer has truly been a blast. The people that I met and the moments that were had this summer make me smile and tear up just thinking about them. The two months that I lived out of a suitcase while bouncing between camps and another state were 100% worth it. I experience the best year of Winshape learning about Gods faithfulness and what true vulnerability looks like alongside some of the bestest of old and new friends. I grew deeper in my faith at Impact by being poured into during the day and learning how to be confident in sharing my testimony. Living out of a suitcase for two months was definitely worth it for the growth that was made. I have watched the Lord tend the garden of my heart, tilling and planting. He is good and kind, and His presence is near even when I don’t feel it. I am forever grateful how the Lord used this summer to pull me closer to Him. He is sufficient and His grace is abounding all the more. Romans 5:20
