And just like that, the final year of my roaring 20s has officially begun ✨️🥂
It was a weekend full of joy, laughter and new experiences with brilliant people I'm so incredibly fortunate to call dear friends.
On this day, I'm always remined of how lucky I am to have such amazing people in my life, who - from far and near - always make it a day to remember. ❤️❤️ Thank you for all the lovely wishes, and to everyone who took the time to call or message on my big 29 - it wouldn't have been the same without you! 🥰

2026: Week three 📖

This week was the start of a few very busy ones, January is never quite as relaxing as I aim for it to be 😅

I made it over to Aberdeen for my gorgeous friend’s 30th and managed to meet a new puppy and baby along the way, which is pretty good going in my eyes!

I hope you had a lovely week and that the next is even better 🫶

1. You don’t want to know how many times it took us to get this photo without a balloon in front of a face 🎈
2. Meeting Rufus was pure chaotic perfection 🐶
3. The most gorgeous little book nook @beinnbooks 📚
4. Morning sky 🌅
5. Birthday girl (with delicious cake by @laurens_rambles) 🎂
6. Current reads - I don’t usually do two but Iron Flame is not very easy to pop in a bag to take out and about 📖
7. My card game has been upped how I have more than five colours 🎨
8. We are still being spoiled by friends and family 🎁
9. Moody skies in Cullen 🌊
10. I love when you can see snowy mountains in the distance from Inverness 🗻

Without sounding dramatic, Lady Gaga's Mayhem Ball was literally the best thing I've ever seen with my own two eyes - so fortunate to witness such an amazing artist at the prime of her career - as if I didn't already love her enough 😂🙈

I recorded the start and the end of the show and literally spent the rest of it 🤯😭🤯😭

And I got to spend time with another Gaga fanatic and my amazing friend @laurens_rambles and you can tell we had so much fun (even if we had a last minute disaster with a broken key meaning we almost missed the entire thing 😅)- one does not go see Gaga without the suitable attire and photoshoot to boot 👯

That's the thing about monsters... They never die 🖤

Still reeling from last night, Mayhem Ball was on another level - had to break up the journey back home making silly videos ofc 😂

National Suicide Prevention 💙

I am very grateful and thankful to @laurens_rambles for giving me the opportunity to promote Cold Water Therapy and the life-changing mental health benefits. So many people have reached out and have started their cold water journey, which is really amazing.

This week marks National Suicide Prevention Week. It is so important to normalise talking about suicide and to give people the confidence to do so. Open conversations help to show those who are struggling that they are not alone and that help is available.

Scotland has the highest rates of suicide in the UK, with 14 deaths per 100,000 people. We all have a role in supporting those struggling with mental health.

💙 There is a Mental Health Swim facilitated by @cullen_mental_health_swims taking place this Saturday 13th September 4pm at Cullen Harbour. All are welcome, but please book to attend on the link provided on the page. It would be great to see some new faces there!

💙 There are also Walks of Hope @wellbeingmoray that will take place in Findhorn on Thursday 11th September and in Fochabers on Saturday 13th September, both starting at 6am. The Walks of Hope are a chance to remember those lost to suicide and to support people living with suicidal thoughts.

Highland Moss in the Press 🗞️🌿

A big thank you to Lauren, who ran the interview, and Kath, who took the wonderful photos, for visiting our shop and giving us the opportunity to share our story! 💚

It was so great to also showcase our handsome Noel and our “small” puppy (not so small anymore 😂) Angus - they were posing like pros! 🐾📸 We hope Michael and Lewis don’t mind a little bit of fame, but at least it’s for a good reason to be in the paper 💚🙌

It’s hard work, but it’s also amazing seeing our shop become a happy place for so many people - we started with just a few plants, and now we supply RHS Chelsea Flower Show, BBC Gardeners’ World, London Zoo, and so many customers and businesses! We’re excited to see what comes next ✨🌱

If you’d like to read the full article, you can check it out on the website via the link below or grab a paper today ✨

It’s lovely to be able to share something positive from Aberdeen, and we’d love to know if you’ve spotted the article online or in print - let us know in the comments, we’re curious to see how many of you have seen it! 👀💬
