🇹🇷 HYROX IZMIR 2026 — PRO WOMEN DOUBLES RECAP 🔥

🇨🇭 Céline Von Potobsky & Melanie Maurer take their first overall Pro doubles win together in 57:22! Fourth in Barcelona, third in Istanbul, now top of the podium 🥇

🇬🇧 Suzi Royds & Tegan Frizelle finish second in 58:21, winning six of eight stations and the 25–29 age group. Both set individual Pro doubles PBs in their first race as a pair.

🇩🇰 Michelle Raupelyte Reiersen & Tascha Møller complete the podium in 58:35 with the fastest row: 4:08.

🇪🇸 Noelia González Timón & Paula Bernabé Gamo take fourth in 59:18, closing with the fastest wall balls at 3:17. 🇺🇸 Maleah Chumley & Sierra Baker cut 1:59 from their pair best to finish fifth in 1:00:01.

🇬🇧 Lauren Scott & Vanessa Rubio win 16–24 in 1:03:28. 🇹🇷 Duygu Yılmaz Özdemir & Elisa Kenar lead the home field in eighth at 1:08:12.

🖤💚 48hrs in Izmir.

What a couple of weeks - 5 days training in Lanzarote, 3 days later we’re in Izmir for our first race of the season.

1st AG, 2nd OV - 58.21 for our first run out !!

Couldn’t be happy with the result when I wasn’t running at all in the lead up to this race and was so scared of letting my partner down. Then the Club La Santa to Izmir turnaround definitely caught up with both of us 🙃

Being the athlete she is Teg’s was ready to pick up the slack, we played to our strengths and gave it everything we had :))

Izmir weekend round-up

Went into this race with absolutely zero expectations, with Suz coming back from injury and both of us being pretty ill. Somehow, the race plan came together, and having come out of lunges in line with the competition, we both fought for dear life for that world’s spot. Thank god my partner is an absolute weapon at wall balls😏

A nice little confidence boost for our first race, but plenty to work on… especially the running 🥲. Back to training once we kick this illness 🫡

Coaching was something I fell into a couple of years back, initially somewhat reluctantly.

@frank.cornyn was the first Hyrox man through the door. 18 months on I’m proud to say I still work with him and he’s now a good mate of mine.

More recently I began to take on a few more clients. @skulptur.me should get a massive thank you as the person who helped convince me to really take the plunge.

If I’m being honest the initial thinking was to try and provide me with a stream of income which would allow me to train more and focus fully on Hyrox.

However, I quickly swapped one job for another with just as much time and effort going into my clients as anything else.

What started as a plan to try and train full time soon evolved into something that I really loved doing.

From screaming for Sally and Lauren and worlds to nervously pacing around the kitchen tracking @haseeb_xy @karanbalan11 and @ansh.on.earth races in Dehli and then @manwiththegoldenbun and @matteosolari_ breaking records a few weeks back, I realised I’d found a job I was genuinely passionate about. Now I can actually put the @hyresult and data/strategy obsession to good use.

I am truly honoured to have been trusted by a bunch of hardworking and savage athletes across 5 continents. To be responsible for the thing that people really enjoy in their lives is not something I take lightly and I’m going to do everything I can to help them reach their goals.

It’s been a great start with world podiums, world and national records, PBs and most importantly, clients enjoying their training and fitness.

I couldn’t be more excited for this season to get properly underway.

Very privileged to be helping some unbelievable athletes in their journeys.

Weekend Round Up

@matteosolari_ ran a 49 second pro doubles PB in Istanbul. This improved his Swiss national record (on Swiss national day!) and scored him some elite points. Massive shoutout to his partner @yacine.coaching on an awesome race.

@manwiththegoldenbun was part of the first team to complete The Deadly Gross, an unbelievable feat and establishing a new world record.

@laurensscottx won the Bedford 5k in new PB of 19:37

@beccapollard94 completed her first ever parkrun. Here is to many more. Extremely proud 👊
