POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Every dancer leaves with a different path ahead of them. ✨

Some dance professionally. Some teach. Some compete in college. Some pursue careers outside of dance. And some carry everything they learned here into the lives they build beyond the studio.

Different paths. Different chapters.
But it all starts here.

THIS IS J’ADORE.
Every dancer. Every chapter. ONE story. 💛

At the beginning of 2025, I chose two words to carry with me: becoming and peace. Truthfully, I forgot them somewhere along the way. Life got very busy. Seasons shifted. My ADHD kicked in. All the things!

It wasn’t until I recently sat with my journal again that I realized those words shaped my year more than I realized.

This year became a season of unraveling, letting go and returning to myself. Letting go of people, places, and versions of myself that no longer aligned with who God was shaping me to be.
It stretched my faith, greatly. Asked for obedience when staying would’ve been easier. Moving on when God said now, even when I didn’t have the full picture and it felt scary.

And still, in the moments of discomfort, there was peace. A constant knowing that I was exactly where I was meant to be. From that peace came joy and a spark in myself I’d been searching for the past few years.

As 2026 approaches, I feel refreshed, hopeful, and open-handed for what this new year will bring. And I know one thing is for sure; that whatever lies ahead is already written, and I trust God will continue to exceed anything and everything I could imagine.

Dear J’adore Fam 🤍,
We want to take a moment to share just how special Sunday truly was.

Sunday morning, only hours before our scheduled 4pm Polar Express performance, we received a call that Manchester High School had lost power, with no guarantee it would be restored in time for the show.

We stayed calm. We prayed together. We trusted the process.

Almost immediately, our dear friends at Life Co. Church stepped in and offered to host the performance if needed. We accepted the blessing , and that’s when the real magic began.

Within 30 minutes, more than 35 parents arrived with trucks and SUVs to help load every set piece, prop, costume, and piece of equipment. We caravanned together, unloaded at Life Co., and had just four hours to completely reset the entire production.

• The Life Co. team took charge of production, creating stunning lighting and visuals
• Our staff jumped into costume setups and backstage logistics
• Myself and Maddie worked to re-stage and adjust the show to fit the new space (which was WAY different)
• Parents worked alongside Mrs. Alice and Mr. Al to decorate, move equipment, bring food and coffee, and keep spirits high

It was truly all hands on deck, and the way everyone showed up for one another was overwhelming in the best way.

Our dancers adapted with grace and professionalism, embracing the new space and performing with such heart. What they lived out yesterday was everything we hope to teach them: perseverance, faith, optimism, teamwork, community, and joy.

We finished rehearsing with just enough time. and what followed was one of the most precious and meaningful performances we’ve ever experienced.

This experience moved us deeply. It was a reminder that J’adore is more than a studio, it is a family.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to:
• Life Co. and their incredible staff
• Our parents
• Our dancers
• Our faculty and production team

Yesterday turned out better than we ever could have imagined. It was exactly what was meant to happen and we are so grateful to share this journey with you.

With so much love and gratitude,
🤍 Lauren Gareau & The J’adore Dance Team

Please join us in welcoming Laurie Beth “LB” Baker to our Adult Division Teaching Staff!

Starting next month, LB Baker will take over the Adult Modern classes, bringing a wealth of knowledge and energy to our program. With a rich background in modern training, competition technique classes, theater, and academic classes, LB brings a unique blend of originality, purpose, and meaning to her work as a choreographer and teacher. Her approach to dance is deeply informed by her commitment to integrating dance history into her classes, helping students appreciate the roots of their movement vocabulary. She emphasizes the importance of recognizing individual self-worth while enjoying the beauty and joy of dance.

To celebrate LB’s arrival, we will offer a free trial class on Thursday, August 29th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. This is a great opportunity for both current and new students to experience LB’s teaching style and get to know her. Please sign up for this class using the link in our bio.
