2025 (and a bit of 2026) wrapped!

I took a bit of a step away from training hard over the last year following a series of persisting injuries and an increased uni load. It turned into a rather tumultuous year, as I only managed to compete a few times. I was incredibly ill during NSW State Boulder Titles and placed poorly for Lead, but was fortunate enough to be given a position on the NSW State Team for nationals in both disciplines.

Despite less training, I managed to place higher than I ever have at both events due in no small part to a more relaxed and fun centred approach. Such approaches have helped me to really enjoy my climbing over the past year and lead to fantastic experiences like a recent trip to Castle Hill in New Zealand.

Thank you to everyone who has made my climbing possible over the past 15 years. Thank you to my family for giving me so many opportunities, and my friends old and new for supporting me through the highs and lows of my journey so far. Thank you to all the amazing coaches I have had and the supportive environment of @nomadboulderingsyd. And most importantly thank you to all the volunteers who make the amazing competition events put on each year possible, we would not be where we are as a sport without you. A special thanks to @cuppa_t_ for leading @sportclimbingnsw so well for so many years, I really value all the time and effort you put in to us, not just as an athlete but as a friend. And thank you to @emmawarriorprincess for supporting me no matter how many bad decisions I make : )

Good luck to our NSW athletes competing at the 2026 Australian Boulder Nationals & Oceania Championships this weekend.

You’ve all put in a solid block of training to get here and it’s great to see that work pay off with a spot on the start list.

2025 Australian Lead Nationals | Urban Climb, Melbourne

Huge weekend for our NSW athletes at the 2025 Australian Lead Nationals in Melbourne!

We’re super proud of everyone who pulled on and gave it their all across some challenging routes. From first Nationals appearances to finals-level performances, it was great to see such focus, commitment, and energy from the whole crew — some really great climbing all round.
