Latin Village memories

Giving away our I Love Chicas bags, dancing, laughing and enjoying every second together.

But the real question is…

Can anyone understand what May is saying in the video?

Listen carefully and write in the comments what you think she said.

And yes… she was VERY proud of that I Love Chicas bag.

Latin Village with our Chicas was a whole experience. Fue mi parte Favorita de todo el evento 🤣

G. LATINA.

There are moments when I don’t need to explain who I am.
I just dance.

Latin blood, Brazilian Funk, years of experience, freedom and a stage full of energy.

Latin Village, thank you for letting me live this moment.

And to my I Love Chicas community: this is what we are building together.

Would you dance this with me?

Music: G-LATINA — @pedrosampaio x El Bogueto

Thank you for showing up, sharing your energy and representing our beautiful community at Latin Village.

From giving out our I Love Chicas bags to dancing together on the stage, every moment reminded us of what happens when women support one another and move as one team.

This was more than a performance. It was connection, confidence, joy and community.

Would you love to experience a stage like this with us?

Comment STAGE and follow I Love Chicas Academy. Through our classes, we help you develop your technique, confidence and stage presence so that one day, you can be up there with us.

Important notice:

When Héctor El Father says “déjale caer to’ el peso,” Laurie and I take the instruction very seriously.

No choreography.
No excuses.
Just intense perreo, good energy and two colleagues enjoying old-school reggaeton.

Who else loses control when this song starts?

“At 49 years old, I celebrated my own birthday for the first time.”

Do you celebrate your birthday every year, or do you sometimes put yourself last?

For many years, I organized celebrations for everyone else, but somehow I never celebrated my own birthday.

This year, at 49 years old, I finally gave myself permission to do it my way.

Strong women.
Games and laughter.
Bubbles and delicious finger food.
Dancing and beautiful conversations.
And of course, our Venezuelan “cajita feliz”.

My birthday was actually on May 11th, but life got busy, so I celebrated a little later. And honestly… it was worth the wait.

Because sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves is permission to celebrate our own lives.

Happy Birthday to me.
