One year of Your Favorite Player !!

YFP started pretty simply - I wanted custom pieces to wear to my boyfriend’s games. I wanted things that felt personal, unique, and like me, so I learned to sew and started creating them myself - duh.

I’ve always loved creating, and sewing has an extra special place in my heart because my grandma was the one who first taught me how. Eventually, something I was doing just for fun turned into an idea for Your Favorite Player, and one year ago, I decided to see what would happen 🕺

Since then, I’ve made pieces for friends, family, other hockey girls, and so many people I’ve never even met. The opportunities I’ve had in just one year have been so special. From creating custom pieces for people all over, to making playoff jackets, to creating for the Jacksonville Jaguars, I’ve gotten to work on things I never would have imagined when I decided to start YFP so thx you and ily for that

I’m also still learning every single day. This past year has been a lot of trial and error, trying new techniques, saying yes to ideas I’m not totally sure how to make yet, and figuring them out along the way.

I’m so grateful for every friend, family member, stranger, team, and person who has trusted me to create something for them. Also my bf for letting me turn our dining table into my craft space. It’s pretty crazy to look back at everything that’s happened in just the first year.

Here’s to year two & all the things I haven’t learned how to make yet 🫠 ok I’m done now
