@nyrr ACHILLES 4M – 9/9+1 🏃‍♀️🏆💙

i couldn’t bring myself to post this in june so here we are…

just a few days before my final race to qualify for the 2027 new york city marathon, i sprained my ankle. although i still crossed the finish line and officially completed all nine races, i wasn’t ready to celebrate this win at the time. truthfully, it was an incredibly emotional period of my life.

but what i remember most from this day is hope.

hope that my body was going to recover. hope that i was going to be ok. and hope that somehow, i was still going to run the new york city marathon next year.

now, as i gear up for my +1 volunteer opportunity this weekend and finally begin running again after being cleared, i’m ready to celebrate what this finish line meant.

despite every health complication this summer brought, and the ones i may continue to work through, i completed all nine of my races within the first six months of 2026. i could not be prouder of myself.

running was never something i thought i was good at. honestly, it was never even something i wanted to do. but this journey has shown me that when you put your mind to something, anything is possible.

nyc marathon 2027, i’m coming for you. 🗽💙

another best day ever!!!! 🤗

@nyrr CITIZENS QUEENS 10K – 8/9+1 🏃🏼‍♀️👑💚

my first spaghetti course is officially in the books. 🍝🤣

i had never been to this park before, and it ended up being one of the most beautiful race venues i’ve run. getting to run past iconic queens landmarks like arthur ashe stadium 🎾 and the uniglobe 🌎 made the kms fly by.

one thing i definitely wasn’t expecting…. sooo many twists and turns. 😅 not even a complaint, just something i wasn’t used to. my ankles were definitely feeling all of those corners by the end.

other than that, it was such a perfect race day. ☀️ blue skies, great weather, an amazing crowd, and i got to break out a new green running set from @lululemon that made me feel confident from the start. 💚✨

it’s kind of crazy to think my next nyrr race is my last one before officially qualifying for the 2027 tcs new york city marathon. 🗽🥹 one more to go.

another best day ever!!!! 🤗

@nyrr virtual global running day – 7/9+1 🏃🏼‍♀️🌎💙

what a joy to celebrate a sport that has become such a big part of my life over the last year. 🥹

for this one, i kept it simple and headed back to the track where it all started. a quick 5k at the place that has seen some of my best runs, some of my toughest runs, and everything in between. 🏟️✨

this track has witnessed early mornings, hard workouts, moments of confidence, moments of doubt, and so much growth. but the best part? every single one of those kms counted.

because whether it was a great run or a bad run, it was still a run. and that’s always something worth celebrating. ❤️

i’m so grateful for everything running has given me this past year: the places it’s taken me, the people i’ve met, and the confidence it’s helped me build along the way.

excited for more races, more miles, and more memories this june. 🏃🏼‍♀️☀️

another best day ever!!!! 🤗

@nyrr @mastercard MINI 10K – 6/9+1 🏃🏼‍♀️❤️🧡

what a fun race!!!!!

it definitely started off hot, but once we got moving and found some shade, i felt really strong out there. honestly, i was so impressed with how my body responded to the conditions and how well i was running despite the heat. 🐝

this course was incredible and the energy throughout the race made every mile so much fun. there’s something special about summer running in new york city. 🏙️

i also can’t believe how close i am to completing my 9+1 journey. every race gets me one step closer to the 2027 @nycmarathon and that goal is starting to feel very real. 🥹🗽

so grateful for another amazing morning with the running community and another race that reminded me why i love this sport so much.

june is packed with more races and i can’t wait to see what the rest of the month has in store. 👀🏃🏼‍♀️

another best day ever!!!! 🤗
