BAPIA MEMBER SPOTLIGHT – LAVA BALLOONS

This month we’re delighted to shine our BAPIA Member Spotlight on Alex Lava of Lava Balloons, based in Rutherglen, Scotland.

With more than 12 years in business, Alex has built a fantastic reputation for creating beautifully finished balloon décor, with a real eye for making sure every detail and every photograph looks its absolute best.

And when it comes to favourite jobs, TV and film are right at the top of the list. Lava Balloons even has the rather fabulous claim to fame of working on an Indiana Jones set!

We also love Alex’s advice to fellow business owners:

Keep believing, keep pushing forward and try not to get too distracted by what everyone else is doing particularly when it comes to pricing.

Great advice, and a great business to feature as our monthly Spotlight Member.

COULD YOU BE OUR NEXT BAPIA MEMBER SPOTLIGHT?

We’d love to celebrate more of the talented people and businesses within the BAPIA community.

If you’d like to put yourself and your business forward to be featured in a future BAPIA Monthly Member Spotlight, we’d love to hear from you.

Tell us a little about you, your business, what you specialise in and what makes your business unique and don’t forget to send us some of your favourite photos!

📩 Email sue@bapiaonline.com with the subject Member Spotlight.

We can’t wait to discover who we’ll be shining the spotlight on next!

Back to School!

It’s almost that time again! With the new school year just around the corner, there’s still a great opportunity to capture those last-minute Back to School orders.

From first-day balloons and personalised designs to nursery graduations and those all-important moves into a new school year, these are lovely little milestones that parents want to remember and balloons make them even more special.

A huge thank you to our fabulous BAPIA members for sharing some of their Back to School inspiration with us:

• Lava Balloons
• Shindigs and Do’s
• Balloon Box
• Glam My Party

If you still have availability, now is the time to give your Back to School designs another push on your socials. Remind customers what you can offer, share some previous designs and, importantly, let them know you still have a few spaces available!

Sometimes that last-minute post is all it takes to secure a few extra orders.

And to all the little ones starting or heading back to school very soon we hope they have a fantastic first day!

𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦 - 𝗧𝗣𝗔 𝗛𝗤 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗬 🖤
Before the doors opened. Before the building filled up. Before we cut the ribbon.

Then the prep, the team huddle, the nerves, the excitement… and then watching a day I’ve dreamed about since I was nine years old actually happen. 🥹

I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported TPA, believed in what we’re building and came along to celebrate with us.

The day TPA HQ came to life 🎉💛

Happy 16th birthday to my big bubba!
From a ickle 6lbs 1 not fitting into any clothes to a strapping 5ft 10/ 11.

What an incredible 16 years we have had so far and although you can throw some cheek our way when you’re in a grump, you are still the most thoughtful, kind, loving, smart and handsome wee chops about!

Thank you for everything you do that makes our life that little bit easier and for always being there for your lil bros.

We all love you to the moon and back
