Making yet another attempt to update my Reel, so here’s a look back at two sequences I Directed for the Season 2 finale of Daredevil: Born Again: Bullseye vs. Bullseye and the two converging Hallway fights between Kingpin /Daredevil, JJ & White Tiger.

What I loved most about working on this show was how genuinely collaborative it was. From our cast and directors to every department behind the camera, each sequence was a true team effort. I’m especially grateful to our stunt team @afstunts and the wider stunt community for the skill, trust, and heart they brought to the work.

Season 2 was an absolute blast. I’m grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life, and I can’t wait for you all to see what’s in store for Season 3.

A behind-the-scenes look at a moment I’ve been chasing for over 12 years.

Bringing these two iconic characters together again… for their third round.

Daredevil vs. Kingpin.

After loss. After everything’s changed.

A fight told through words and the silence between them.
Emotion lives in the movement. The story speaks without it.

Huge congratulations to all the creatives on the show. Our writers and showrunner/ creative producers - laid the foundation for moments like this. And what a powerful performances from Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, alongside
our key stunt doubles @niko_stav and @aironarmstrong .

Respect to the East and West Coast stunt community and to my phenomenal stunt team for bringing it to life. #AFStunts

¡🦟Welcome to the Jungle🦟!

The Mosquito Coast Season 2 is one of the best jobs I’ve ever had. Five months filming in and around Tulum, working on a major Apple TV+ series alongside some of the most talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure of sharing a set with.

And a crew that encountered every obstacle imaginable and then some and showed up every single morning with grace, dignity and kindness. No matter how rough the day before had been. There were days we didn’t know if we were going to make it to the end. But we did. Because this is an incredible bunch of human beings. And I genuinely hope I get the privilege of working with every one of them again.

Playing Guillermo Bautista, a reluctant narco, navigating the dangerous intersection of survival, loyalty, and power in the jungle, was a gift. So was every single person in these photos. And when you consider everything this industry has been through over the past three years the strikes, the economic downturns, so many talented people still out of work, the whole thing in flux these are the moments you hang onto. The hopeful ones.

Written by Neil Cross, @evkatz Will Scheffer, Mark V. Olsen

Directed by @alonsoab Metin Hüseyin @stefanschwartz_ & Marisol Adler

Produced in part by @redrum.com.mx and Nick Laws.

Special thanks to showrunner and creator Neil Cross & Evan Katz who couldn’t have been more welcoming.

Endless gratitude to casting directors Vickie Thomas and @mechechida Mercedes Gironella, and casting associate Jennifer Yoo, for putting this world together y también my increíble coach @soypaolamadrigal

Working on Daredevil: Born Again has been a massive collaboration across the board.

This one is for my team, the people who step into the fire with me to design, build, and execute these sequences.

Grateful for my stunt team/action design team and the wider stunt community, from the East Coast to the West Coast, who helped bring this to life. Proud of what we built together.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks as the second half unfolds.

Working on Daredevil: Born Again has been a deeply collaborative experience from the cast and crew to my stunt /action team, and all the filmmakers involved.

The strength of this show lives in that collaboration. There’s a real blend between 1st unit and 2nd unit, where everything moves as one - directors, writers, producers, cast, and every creative HOD contributing to the same vision.

Grateful to be part of something built this way. More to come.
