Sometimes you want fluffy romance… 🥹💗

…and sometimes you want blood, bonds, battles, dangerous men and questionable life choices. 🩸🖤

So naturally, I built myself a little Black Book Edition TBR. 📚

This stack is giving dark romantasy, gothic vibes, morally grey characters, dangerous worlds and ✨chaos✨ — basically everything I’m currently craving.

📚 Where’s Molly — H.D. Carlton
🌹 Rose in Chains — Julie Soto
🩸 On Wings of Blood — Briar Boleyn
🦅 Shield of Sparrows — Devney Perry
✨ Rites of the Starling — Devney Perry
🔥 The Bond That Burns — Briar Boleyn
⚔️ Steelborn — Taylor LaRae

I’ve tagged a few friends, so show me YOUR Black Book Edition TBR. 🩸📚 No rules really… just grab the books on your TBR that give dark, dangerous, gothic, bloody, morally-grey or “this is probably going to ruin me” vibes. 😂

Which one would you grab first? 👀

WHAT. THIS. WEEK. 📚
*Tag your bookish buddies*
Thank you @kelbel.of.the.books for tagging me with this cute post idea! 🫶 (if you’re reading this consider yourself tagged)

What am I reading: Winter Street by the queen herself @elinhilderbrand Also reading, (because there is never just one) An ARC read, Evidence against us by debut, indie author @meganharlowwrites This book has great tropes!

What I am listening to: I received the best notification on my Libby app today.. Throne of Glass is ready to borrow!! I wasted no time, tapped borrow and I started listening durning my workout today. Only a few chapters in and… well, Sarah J Maas is brilliant. I knew immediately that I had to have a physical copy to immersive read this one. So, I may or may not have ordered a paper back copy from Amazon (I did)

Lastly, What am I enjoying: drum roll please… building my library!!! It’s going to be a floor to 10 foot ceiling of library shelves with two cabinets in the center and cover the entire 17 foot long wall!! Yep! I am definitely doing a happy dance right now. My hubby is building it for me!! As with all good things, this project will take some time to finish but when she’s done. She will be a dream come true. 📚🩷📚

As I gather book for the new shelves I will soon have— what book or books do you think are a must to have in my library?
