Happy Birthday to the most beautiful girl in the world to me. I am so honored and grateful God chose me to be your mother. I am so proud of the young lady you have become. It’s your love for God, love for your family, your genuine love, care, and concern for others, your work ethic, your passion for art. I could go on and on but it’s everything about YOU for me! I am one proud mama! Today is your day! 🎊

And Dorian thank you so much for the New York trip and making this one epic birthday for Nura! 🫶🏾🤎

A little history about Nura. Nura has always been a social butterfly. I’ll never forget the words of her first grade guidance counselor “Nura is a social butterfly. We’re not going to try to change her personality. She’s a talker, but she’s respectful and her grades are good. We’re going to let Nura be Nura”. And her first grade teacher “when Nura walks in the room the whole class just stop and stare at her twirling so gracefully all the way to her seat”. Maybe it was the ballerina lessons. Lol either way, this is the core of Nura! In fact, every time I see a butterfly I immediately think of you.

We love and celebrate you today!
🥳🎊🩷💕💗

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all the teachers out there! We appreciate your service! Y’all do way more than teach, let me just first say that! 🙌🏾💗

To our beautiful & amazing daughter Nura, we are so proud of you! One day I had the opportunity to spend the day in her classroom. I’m sure she could tell by the look on my face, but I never really got the chance to express my admiration for her. You may not have imagined teaching is what you would be doing, but you accepted the assignment that God has for you right now. As I always say, you have one of the most rewarding careers. I know there may have been plenty of times you wanted to give up, but here we are at the end of another school year. Time flies when you’re having fun, at least that’s what it looks like to me. The kids gravitate to you & love you so much and so do we!! 🩷💕💗💞
