"I wanted to make new friends and serve a new community that I am now apart of."

What is your favorite memory since joining Tarleton Serves? "My favorite memory would be watching the host at Night of Casseroles because he runs around screaming when it starts to get a little slow."

I had a great time visiting Minneapolis. We got to see the Timberwolves beat the Mavericks and walk around the Mall of America. We had sooo much fun! I’m ready for my next trip!

Oh boy, better late than never, right?!? Duck Camp 3 I loved you so much I had to come back for seconds, and you were just as amazing as I remembered!!

To my fabulous baby ducks, thank you! Thank you for everything!! You all have reminded me why I joined this program, each of you has brought so much love and happiness not only to Tarleton but to my life. From the moment you guys showed up at check-in, y’all were ready for absolutely anything. Watching y’all push yourself and those around y’all to their full potential was truly an honor. And the challenges that came y’all’s way were overcome by resilience and determination. After camp, I was already excited for y’all to start and begin y’all’s journey here, but after seeing how each of y’all carried yourself through T-Week, my excitement has turned into eagerness. I’m so ready to see what y’all will accomplish during your time at Tarleton. I know it will be nothing but the best, y’all have already made me so proud!! We’ll forever be a little family, J-TAC 4 life!!!
And to my amazing partner KADE!! It was truly such a privilege to watch you grow, not only this summer but last semester. Going from being your facilitator to being DC 3 partners was a highlight of my summer! I couldn’t have asked for a better Daddy Duck for our campers. You put your all into everything you do, and that has never once gone unnoticed. I’m proud to not only say that you’re my DC3 partner but a real friend!! Keep on reaching king!!!
Lastly, to the TTM program and the TTMs themselves, thank you! Freshman me would be so happy to know that I found my place here at Tarleton. People who share the same drive and passion to serve others as I do. I have truly met some of my favorite people through this program and have learned so much about myself from the experiences I was given. I really mean it when I say no one works harder than the TTMs in this program, going above and beyond for their campers and each other. For that, I’m forever grateful!!
