this version of you

before the season started, i wasn’t planning on performing. i kept looking down thinking that i would only hold back the team. i look back at those moments and it made me realize how much i would’ve missed if I didn’t to go to auditions, and thank god i decided to last minute lol. what’s even cooler, i got to work the social media this year and i took so many cool photos at MCCGA and WGI! i wanna thank the version of me in high school who thought he wasn’t good enough but still kept going. being a part of this group has helped me become a better performer, creator, and person. thank you to each and every person i’ve met along the way. i love you lvpe ⚜️💜

I’d like you to imagine this version of you 🪞🟪

When I first stepped foot into the University of Dayton Arena, it was to catch a glimpse of the Independent World semifinals performances before we had to get ready that evening. I never imagined what it would look like to be on the other side. This will be a very memorable season because of how much it felt I was being pushed to a higher limit, and it leaves me excited to be back on the floor marching next season. 💙💛❤️⚜️#lavoutestl @lavoutestl

This season has had so many ups and downs. From actually making a world class team, driving 10 hours to and from rehearsal every weekend for 6 months, to babies first Dayton. I’m so happy I was able to be a part of this journey and make so many new friends along the way. I am grateful for the experiences that I have now because of La Voute. I guess I should remember “every chapter of your life is worthy of applause” or something like that.
