finally coming back down to land after an insane week at @bigsound 😭💖 3 shows, 13 interviews, stinking hot weather, terrible shoes, insane bands, heaps of yapping, one swim in the pool and 2 wigs. #wigsound the biggest, most heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to watch us play, I’ve never felt more pride or excitement to be playing music 🥹💖 my beautiful hot sexy talented band @freyjahooper @cliorenner @brendanspaghettifingers @tall_max_ii @davidmwestern who absolutely killed all 3 shows, couldn’t do it without you always having my back 🩵🩵🩵 my second fake dad @stephen_mowat_ for hustling and roadie-ing his heart out 🫡🫡🫡 the insanely talented @dalemamo for making us sound a million bucks, 3 times in a row with the tiniest changeovers, 6 musicians, 6 different guitars, loads of samples and tracks … absolutely in awe of ur talent 🫶🫶🫶 @kjdoyle for following us around taking the most INSANE photos and videos, cannot recommend or praise her highly enough !!! 📷📷 (slides 1 and 10) 💖💖💖 and lastly to my beautiful managers @asiakwin and @jonleefarrell who met and yapped and hustled and emailed and scheduled and booked and championed me 24 hours a day 7 days a week for 100 years, I love you both so much and I couldn’t do it without my amazing fake mum n dad 🥹💖 extra huge thanks to @becyblue @500daysofapril @rachelmkelly @lucystars @cathyooates @f0xy_m0r0n for the incredible hard work you’ve put in to help make the whole week and my record release such a raging success, I’m sooooooo sooooo grateful 😭🩵💖 to new friends, old friends and all the bands that lugged their butts to Brisvegas to perform their hearts out, it’s no easy thing, it takes so much work and time and effort and I send my hugest kudos to everyone who showcased, played, hustled and gave it everything they had. I came straight back off the plane to do another amazing 2 shows at @gasworkscreativeprecinct so now I am dead and will need to sleep for roughly 80 years. see u after a nap - Q x

I spent the last week at an awesome music festival and saw so many bands!!! This is part 1 of my favourite acts I saw at @bigsound 😁 please please check out all these Australian artists 💙 I’ve been uploading digicam clips of bands on my youtube (digicamvidsyoutube) and I’ll be putting some longer versions of these on there 🙏 Everything was taken on a panasonic fx07 @dirtyharryband_ playing at the official closing party at @greaserbar and what can I say except it was a movie. greaser is a tiny basement venue and it was packed 😎 I’m gonna be posting more from this set, keep your eyes PEELED @millystrange at @theblackbearlodge 💙 this was the first time I heard her music and it was so incredible omg. I watched them again the next day and got emo. watch the next slide for the last bit of the song @millystrange ahhhh so good wtf @anyyoungmechanicband at the @omiyagroup unofficial showcase at @netherworldarcade @anyyoungmechanicband 💚 this showcase is in an arcade bar in brisbane, and they have a little stage at the back for gigs. you can kinda see one of the arcade machines, but they run all along the walls. so aweome @anyyoungmechanicband @publicfigures4eva at the @omiyagroup unoffical showcase at @netherworldarcade 🔥 public figures are so stylish. outfits ate down every show @bluedinergonefishing at black bear lodge 🐻 there’s a path that goes along the side of the stage to the bathrooms and greenroom, and when it’s packed it’s my fave spot to stand. if you go to the bathroom people are chill about you pushing past them, and then you can just stay at the front and get the best view #hacks @dirtyharryband_ goats @specialfeaturesband performing at the @flamingoblondest karaoke afterparty at @blutesbar 🙏 we got a whole line up of bonus sets from some of the best in the music scene 💯 @underlayverysocial karaoke reunion show at blutes, their manager on stage with them.
