There’s too many words to describe how I feel about this season. But grateful is definitely one of them.

Yeah the season didn’t end how I wanted or hoped, but at the end of the day, I still got 3 runs in Ohio, even if the first was a friends and family show, and I had those runs with the best group of people.

To the UP2Q, thank you for be an amazing group of quad players and for being the best (and prob only) Q5 I’ve had the privilege marching with. Can’t wait to see what you guys do.

To UP2, thank you for giving me the opportunity to age-out with an incredible group and an awesome show.

To 🆙stairs, thank you guys for being an amazing group of friends that I honestly didn’t think I’d have at the beginning of the season. You guys are all awesome and I can’t wait to see what you guys accomplish.

Although I’m hopping off the train to NevRe:Land, you’ll see me around.

Best believe I’ll be at everyone’s lots this summer at least once.

Going into this season, I could have never predicted a million things. The one thing I could have though, is the people I was surrounded by. The unwavering support of my staff, my section, and my friends here at United have shown me that regardless of an outcome, I can still have the best season I could have ever dreamed of.

“We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated.” Time to come back next year stronger and hungrier to perform on the finals floor. Not just for myself, but for everyone around me who deserves it just as much. East coast, forever and always ❤️🚀🖤

The closer you get to the end, the more it becomes about the beginning.

I’ll never forget the day @ecorphanides nagged me to go to a 7th regiment camp over zoom. It was 2021, and I honestly had a pretty low self-esteem as far as music went. I was literally ready to be a business major- but something in me convinced me to go. I got ripped to shreds, but the people who taught me saw something in me, and gave me a chance. Two contracts later, I finished the season with 7th in 2022(my second year if you count a virtual season) and got ready for UMass- going for a degree in music?!?

And as we get to the end, to my ageout- I’m reminded that once the end happens, I never really have the right words to say(the UMass quadline can attest).So let me say them now.

There’s a feeling about United that I desperately love and miss every week I spend away from it, waiting for Friday. After my ageout with music city, I felt like there was something missing. Something more to be found- and I’ve found it. There’s a high to indoor that is incredibly hard to come down from for 4 days until you get it again. And there has NEVER been a group I’ve been in where EVERY single person is someone I want to be around. But that’s United for me. The man I was before and after this group is so different, and so much stronger. These people I have been graced to spend my time with every weekend have changed my life and who I am on a fundamental level.

Every time I leave United on Sunday, the goodbyes get harder and the reality of the week hits deeper. And as I prepare to start the weekend one last time, I’m overwhelmed with flashes of the season and how fast it has gone by. From my first conversation with @wigleyb42 at a Wawa during auditions to the alpine Thursday (iykyk) and the coming journey, I am so grateful for everyone in this battery, and this ensemble.

Also, shoutout to @gr10999 to being a mentor to my from my Jit years to my ageout 🥳

I love you, United Percussion. For everyone I’m marching with- when the tears fall and the season ends, come back here if you wanna see how I feel.

And just like that, I’m done with my Spartan section of my scrapbook. Being in Drum corp had quite literally impacted my life in a way I’ll never forget intense excitement I feel in my body when it comes to performing every rep in both Southwind and Spartans. I felt like I lost a huge identity of myself when I realized that I could never march again in the DCI universe. There is All-Age but I don’t know there’s something different about Open Class where you’re basically having a sleep over with a BUNCH of people for 3 months straight having blood, sweat and tears coming out of you and just bonding with them as if they are your second family. I’ve about ranted in every single page possible on how I felt everyday so you guys can zoom and read if you like, I have nothing really to hide. I want to mention a small section on the very last page of my scrapbook. Yes. I did get contracted for Blue Stars and I was really proud of myself for being able to join a world class group for my bonus year/ageout rage out. I had a rough start of 2025 which affected me just about every day all the way up to move ins for Blue Stars so i decided to voluntarily take myself out and went home to focus on my mental health. I went to therapy for the first time immediately after I got back home and I’m glad I did. It upsets me still that I wasn’t able to just “push through” since it was a privilege to be on the team and to perform my bonus age out but I had to do what was best for me. Anyways! I hope you’ve had fun reading and looking through this scrapbook so far because I sure did have fun including a lot of you in this because everyone holds a special place in my heart <3 ❤️RRC and LND 🧡
