Game Flow showed up for the Haudenosaunee Nationals with complimentary period supplies and everyday essentials. Because supporting athletes means thinking about the needs that don’t make the highlight reel.

For our founder @coachvwindsor, this mission grew from years of playing, coaching and showing up for athletes through @laxonli. Game Flow carries that commitment beyond one team, one sport or one stage.

Lax On Elite Beach Clean up! We participated in the International Coastal Clean up to not only clean up a local beach but to also document the trash that is polluting our waterways. Our girls picked up and documented all of the trash they found at Cedar Beach in Mount Sinai as part of an international study- excellent job girls! We are so proud of you! Cedar Beach was hard hit by a storm a few weeks ago and your efforts made such an impact down there. Continue to be the change you wish to see in the world!

Game Flow started long before it had a name.

It started with moments I experienced as an athlete and carried with me into coaching and motherhood.

At 13, I was embarrassed to tell my coach I had my period. He responded with kindness. But that feeling of not knowing how to ask for what I needed stayed with me.

Years later, those experiences became part of my why.

I’m building Game Flow to bring period education, access to essentials, and community to athletes—and the coaches, parents, and people supporting them.

This Flow Friday, I’m sharing a piece of the story that led me here.

Because somewhere, there’s another 13-year-old who deserves to feel comfortable asking for what she needs.

As part of UMass Fall Brawl the girls got a tour of campus with two current UMass players. Great opportunity for them to meet and spend some time with big-time D1 athletes.

Women in Sport’s 2022 UK research found that 43% of teenage girls who once considered themselves sporty disengaged from sport after primary school.

That deserves our attention and their voices deserve to be heard.

What almost pushed you out of sport? What helped you stay?

Parents, coaches, teammates, and supporters: listen to the answers. Ask what would help. Make support easier to find.

🗣️There is No Lacrosse Without the Haudenosaunee.

Thank you to @niagarawlax & @heronlax for helping remind everyone that lacrosse was gifted to the world by the Haudenosaunee, and that their presence and participation in our game matters.

Today, on #indigenouspeoplesday we invite everyone in the lacrosse community to learn, listen, support, and use their voice. Because there is no lacrosse without the Haudenosaunee — and there is no better time for our lacrosse community to come together and make sure their story, their people, and their place in this game are recognized. Together as one, we can help make LA28 a place for the Haudenosaunee.

Lynn Women’s Lacrosse ‘32 💙⚔️🌴

I am so excited and humbled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career playing lacrosse at Lynn University!

First and foremost, thank you to my family for all your sacrifices. Mom, thank you for introducing me to lacrosse and being my biggest fan through all of the laughs, tears, long car rides, and weekends spent on the sidelines. Your endless love and support mean everything and I couldn’t not be more grateful for being by my side throughout this process. Dad, thank you for being my biggest role model, teaching me the value of hard work, and for your dedication throughout my recruitment. I appreciate all the sacrifices you made for me to get me everywhere I needed whether it was tournaments, showcases, or visits. I seriously couldn’t have done this without you guys!

To all the coaches who have helped me grow: Coach Jess, thank you for bringing back my love for the game, believing in me from day one, and pushing me to be my best. I couldn’t have asked for a better coach! Coach Vanessa, thank you for your constant support and for being such a great director. Coach Meli, thank you for being an amazing mentor and for all of your understanding throughout this process.

To my teammates and best friends who have supported me throughout this journey. thank you for always cheering me on. I’m so grateful for each of you!

Finally, thank you to Coach Richmond and Coach Tornetta for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to fulfill my dreams of playing collegiate lacrosse! I am so excited and can’t wait for what’s ahead!
