This group right here is what made me fall in love with coaching!!!! It was Lay’s first year back after a break when Covid hit, yep you read right, missed out almost 2 years of play. I attended the 2nd or 3rd practice and hollered something in basketball terms to @lay2white and the coach realized I knew basketball right then. Without any knowledge of me being Fresh out of being involved in a serious life changing moment that had my life on pause for years, he asks “Hey man wanna help me out this year?” Automatically the answer was yes simply because I love helping other! Unknowingly thou, it was a gift dropped from God. I immediately knew I was aligned with something special. I surely appreciate Coach Henderson and Mr. Leroy at the Rec for throwing an unexpected alley that was approved despite of what I had going on, been hitting the ground running ever since! Lol tag everybody yall know and see 💎🤍 Fun Fact: I mentioned to @12_jokerjack that I was coaching and he just smiled lol, told him never in a million years I thought I would be a coach, he looked at me and said “Shood, me neither” 🤣 we both just laughed it off and he told me embrace my journey that soon will be my legacy 🫡 #coach #sports #basketball #community
