POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I think it’s time I properly reintroduced myself 📝 If we haven’t met before, or if it’s been a while…I’m a Multidisciplinary Digital Storyteller & Marketing Consultant. Within this I help brands and artists to translate their “why” into visual stories, branding and marketing that resonates with global audiences. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to grow the digital storytelling side of brands, arts institutions and agencies, scaling them through thoughtful marketing strategies that have elevated their look, feel and digital presence. For over a decade I’ve been building, experimenting, upskilling and bringing all the different aspects of my skill sets together. Photography has been a part of my visual journey. Some of these images were captured for @inthewritersmind projects, while some were captured during projects and events I’ve worked on for other brands, institutions and companies. There’s also been a lot happening behind the scenes. This year brought some difficult health challenges and personal hurdles that meant I had to pause, step back and give myself some space. That also meant pressing pause on a video interview series I launched and spent years visualising called, “The Stars Behind The Stars”, a series I call my Magnus opus, because I care so deeply about it. There’s still an episode to come from season one of this series which will be released and my hope is to pick things back up with season two next year.🤞🏾 I started INTHEWRITERSMIND in my bedroom in 2015 as my visualisation of talent discovery bringing together music, dance, fashion, journalism and visual storytelling. Now the brand has evolved into a consultancy including brand marketing, digital storytelling and artist development, while continuing to hold onto its roots in visual journalism. So this is a little look back, a little reintroduction, and perhaps a small hint at what’s next… My personal photography portfolio: https://daniellaslens.wordpress.com/ Watch this space 💫 #photography #marketing #consultancy #inthewritersmind

“Women don’t rap” they say. Well this weekly focus is here to prove them wrong. — one queen, one verse, one track at a time. SHEGOTBARS continues to spotlight women whose artistry speaks for itself, and @layfullstop is strong example of that. * Layfullstop is an artist whose music feels rooted in experience rather than performance. She approaches rap with the kind of presence that cannot be manufactured. #femalerapper #rapper #ukrap #hiphop #shegotbars

I am proud to say my third release is available today! 🦋💜 The Chrysalis compilation is out NOW. This track is deeply personal; 04 Joolee B came about from the loss of a dear friend nearly two years ago. It’s a song about living for the day as the day leads into the future—"In A Day". 💃🏽✨️🔊🎙📻 The beat encapsulates the rhythm of a heartbeat, reflecting the process of grief and how it changes day by day. It is a celebration of how I got through those moments—missing her calls, texts, music videos, and photos. I carry the memory of her baking, her love notes, and most of all, her laughter. Swipe through for photos and videos from our listening party in Manchester! Massive shout out to the production team: LayFullStp on Productions & Engineering👏🏾 Maya Diaz on Studio Producer👏🏾 Shout out to the amazing artists sharing this space with me: 🎶 Rumina @ruminamuisc 🎶 Kintsuku @kinsuku_ 🎶 B. Kaizo 🎶 Kaoti @katiiii A special thank you to @ppl_uk @bandinthewall @#attitudeiseverythinghq for their incredible support in bringing this E.P RELEASE to life. 🔗 The link is in my bio to listen on Spotify and iTunes! Where Music Inspires Movement™ © Joolee B #chrysalis #jooleeb #newmusic #manchester wheremuseinspiresmovement
