“But then there was a star danced, and under that was I born.”

Nothing made my heart soar like Beatrice, these people, and this show. As I bid her farewell, it doesn’t really feel like a goodbye. These characters don’t leave us. We get to keep them, methinks. At least, I hope we do. Because Bea made me braver, sillier, more ferocious. She taught me about love, and friendship, and standing up for what’s right.

It was the most amazing summer in Sicily. It was the role of a lifetime. It was an ensemble people only dream of getting to share the stage with. Eternally grateful, now and always.

Thank you to everyone who had any little hand in this, to everyone who came and watched. To @louis.shepardson for being my Ben. To @justinvwhite for making me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. To my lovely directors.

I do love you with so much of my heart that none is left to protest.

Time to say goodbye to the best character I’ve ever played. I didn’t just spend the summer with Dogberry, I had been prepping for this since January. Some may say even putting too much pressure on it… But in the end it turned out wonderful. The most fun I’ve ever had on stage getting to play with some horrendously funny people. It’s a hard one to say goodbye to. But there’s nothing left to do but kick off my shoes and relax. Maybe in a park somewhere…

In Bea’s getting tricked and falling in love era.

“I love you with so much of my heart that none is left to protest.”

We get to do this splendid show two more times. It’s not enough, but it’s also everything.
