15 years.

15 years of long nights, early mornings, not placing, placing first. i have retyped this about a million times and there’s not quite any words to be able to describe how i feel. dance has taught me strength, resilience, hardship, companionship, keep going and never give up. 3 months ago Drs and my parents weren’t sure if i was going to wake up. but i pushed through and i learned how to walk and i even was able to get back on the stage. i am so grateful for everything dance has taught me. i could never put the amount of love i have into just a short little message. but i’m forever grateful for the friendships, the memories, the hard practices, and everything in between. i’ll forever cherish what i had, and what dance has given me. this is the hardest chapter to close but my favorite. dance will forever be apart of me and i’ll forever continue remembering what it has taught me. thank you to everyone who pushed me to be better and pushed me to be the person i am today. thank you for never ever giving up on me. i’ll love you all forever.
