Layla absolutely nailing her turn sequence onstage 🔥 So proud of this girl.

She’s gone from touch-&-go double pirouettes, and many, many failed attempts to performing consistent complex combos.

What we’ve trained in our privates the past 6 months:

HIP FLEXORS — for a higher, well-held passé

REPETITION — same setup, same prep, every single time, to rewire the nervous system for consistency

SPOTTING — drilled as a balance tool to anchor her mid-rotation, so she could stack more turns without losing orientation

Still continuing to build her core stability — that’s the next layer as she pushes into even harder combos.

More turns. Faster. Harder sequence. This is what showing up every week looks like.

This is the same turning methodology I teach to dance educators in my Core & Turning modules — it works because it’s built on the science, not just repetition for its own sake.
