another day, another dancefloor 🔗

Tuesday - Maya Lily & Emora

Maya Lily and Emora offer the perfect antidote to the cold front via the warm embrace of bass weight. Pulling from downtempo, deep house and dub techno, the pair will wrap you up in the cozy grooves of low end vibrations before the tempo rises and the dance floor comes calling.

Wednesday - A Little Bit Orange

If you’ve caught Paula Tape or Cinthie sets of late, you’ll almost certainly have heard the production prowess of A Little Bit Orange. His debut release on Montreal’s KooKoo records balanced tribal percussion and rolling bass with warm, soulful textures, and those same qualities are present throughout his energetic and emotive DJ sets.

Thursday - Fernet x renae

renae goes Roma on Thursday with a night of festivities inspired by the Italian amaro. Our bar manager @bridieradford has created a pair of special Fernet cocktails, there will be FREE TIRAMISU from @layr.uk, and if that wasn’t enough to get your vespa in gear, Italy’s own @camilla__reghenzi and Italophile @futurevolumes__ will be behind the decks for a special set of Italian sounds!

Friday - Infrared

Onto the weekend proper where Infrared take over renae, showcasing the vital energy of the current club scene with a night of Afro-electronic sounds spanning UK Funky, Amapiano, Kuduro and beyond.

Saturday - Nony B

Multi-instrumentalist, DJ talent and serious producer Nony B returns to renae for a Saturday sizzler. An upbringing of classical training and jazz, subverted by early obsessions with jungle and dubstep make for a unique POV, resulting in the smooth blend of deep house and tapey techno Nony spins today. Expect warm and bassy bangers throughout.

Sunday - Obeka

Everyone’s favourite musical polymath takes to the decks to close out the weekend with an essential Sunday session. The Oroko Radio resident and Me Gusta co-founder specialises in pulsating, polyrhythmic electronics, where Pan-African, Caribbean and South American meters collide with club sonics and low end precision.

on thursday 15th of oct, renae transforms into an evening in roma with @fernetbranca

Our Bar manager, @bridieradford is a big lover of the italian amaro and for one night only, she has poured her magic into the creation of delicious special cocktails.

Hanky Panky highball in the role of the aromatic aperitif with fernet branca, gin & orange followed by the Ice Cream Sundae for an indulging Thursday with fernet menta, chocolate & vanilla. And since we love indulging, you will all have a cheat Thursday with free, to-die-for tiramisu from @layr.uk

Additionally, to round up this night of pampering & spoiling, the evening is soundtracked by beloved talents @camilla__reghenzi & @futurevolumes__ . Expect global influences, mediterranean infused rhythms and a hip shaking social to seriously kick off your weekend.

Free entry, free tiramisu, fierce fun 🥃 Thursday 15th of oct
