A year ago today we were on Skye. My main goal was to hike the Old Man of Storr. I did it; I walked through the soles of my shoes, I ran a load of laundry that didn’t get dry until we were in Glasgow days later, I looked at the world around me and couldn’t believe my eyes. TBH it’s a bit of a bummer when a trip of a lifetime has faded that far into the past. I’ve been a few places, but none that have made me feel quite like this. I’d go back to Scotland in a SECOND, would spend every penny all over again, and twice as much. People keep telling me that I’m lucky to have traveled so much recently. There’s no luck involved. You make it happen. Life isn’t going to wait for you and none of us knows how much time we have. Buy the ticket. .

2 weeks away and we’re getting amped! Obstacles have been finished and we’ve managed to snag a nice sized flat top grill (Thank You, Leverne!) for SAWTOOTH JAM. Bring your nourishments! One side for veggies, the other for meats.
