Delta taught me how to choose vulnerability.
How to face conflict directly.
How to accept people through the slow process of growth.

Temperance is my favorite characteristic of a true Delta woman. It’s learning how to move with intention, to respond instead of react, and to be part of something bigger than myself.

As the oldest child with five younger brothers, I didn’t grow up in sisterhood, so this didn’t come naturally to me. Now, I carry it with me everywhere—letters or not.

This is a lifetime commitment.
More than a social club.
More than something I did in college.
